And of course my profile picture shows my other hugger. Took her over a year by the way, to even allow us to pet her! 10 years later, she's a hugger too.
ok, so just the yellow raw? Should I just separate it and throw out the white? And thank you.
So it's 8 pm now, and she's active. Still sneezing, but at least she's perking up. She did eat some of the wet food. I tried a new brand.
I mean the scary part was her not pooping at all. Just pee...
Any ideas?
We got her last week. Now, mind you, she just got spayed so that may be part of it. Still recovering possibly. Her surgery was on the 14 of May.
But anyway, it's hard to tell due to her coat....
But she is seriously boney. The APL gave her a clean bill of health..BUT...so...
This is Milo....
He's panting like crazy...cuz he went for a 5 minute walk ...eye roll here...
He's such a baby. But he's 14, so he's got a low heat threshold now. Our development has a leash law. He hates wearing collars or leashing, but we get around the hold leash thing. He just drags it...
Thank you so much for the welcome. I'd have gotten back sooner, but work was nuts. LOL. Glad to have found this site. Years ago I was a member of a different cat site. It was Australian based I believe. I'm not even sure if it's still running? It was at least 10 years ago.
Anyway, I love...
So, I already posted about Chloe and her bald spot etc....from being spayed. But here's our intro.
Pepper is my old bitty. Got her from the APL years ago. She's somewhere ar 16 years old.
Milo is around 14 maybe. I answered an ad. The poor thing was covered in feces. I had to shave him and...
She looks ok right now. So what they said is, they're not stitches? They're glue?? Weird, but I guess ok. It looks bumpy for glue. The lady on the phone said it's part of the healing. I don't know. Im off on Thursday next week. I'm just gonna have the doc peak at it.
So, I wrote in a post yesterday, that we adopted Chloe from the APL. Her papers state she was spayed on the 14th of May. They shaved her to do the surgery. What I'm wondering is....any idea how long it takes for the hair to grow back? And how long to heal? She seems fine. And my other cat has...
Thank you :) I've waited about a year to do this. Just needed to be sure. Years ago we had a Maine Coon. He was our first ever kitty. About 20 years ago. Then Pepper. Anyway, my husband SWORE HE HATED CATS. Then this fat boofa started following him around at work. It was living out of their...
There was literally ZERO issues. I was kind of amazed. But we used a lot of food and treats.
Pepper stared for a bit...but her love of snacks over rode that.
So all in all...it went awesome! She is soooo friendly...just relaxed. That's the only word I can think of. And she has longer...
Thank you all so much. Well...we literally just got back. We agreed, we know she likes kittens. Also, an older kitten preferred. It's official! I'm so excited. My husband got home at 3, APL closed at 4:30, so we were rushing. We found her on Petfinder thru the APL. I kept going back to this one...
Hi all, so my husband is getting me a new feline. I'm so excited. However, we're trying to decide based on our current kitty, the proper age to go with. Our kids are essentially grown, we've got a 13 year old that is the only one that bothers to grace us with his presence. My oldest is married...
