I used to feed friskies. I don't anymore but in a pinch would grab a can. however looking at ingredients, I would avoid the dry friskies for sure

I use clay litter and kittypoo. Personally I found tidycat stuck to the box too much, after they urinated and it was harder to clean.

are you saying the dry fussie cat and dry EB are too low in fat? I know I checked once and can't remember which had what percentages. I do feed those 2 plus purevita and some nulo dry, and whatever samples I get at stores so my cats get a good variety. also they eat about a 5.5 can each a day.

all I can say is it can take a while. Took my 2 cats over a month to adjust when we got our kitten. Kept separated at first, then little bits of supervised time together. Years later, they all cuddle up and guess who rules the roost around here? ;-)

For canned, I recommend Nulo ( I use the chicken and turkey which has a teeny bit of tuna in it) as well as Earthborn, Wellness and Nutrisource. Those are the brands I feed my cats most often, all 3 like them. For dry I use earthborn, fussie cat and purevita. Good Luck!

When I left dry food down, as free feeding, my cats all gained weight. so now I feed 3 x a day, sometimes 4, and only put down dry if we are going away overnight.

Nulo ( canned) now is the top favorite of all 3 of my cats!

that's odd because he's young. My friends cat started meowing constantly when she was about 18 or 19 and did so for a year before she passed away. I'm not sure why a young cat would unless he's just very vocal?

yes Nulo is one of 5 or 6 brands I use for my 3 cats. the orange can. they all love it!

I also did find an article from ASPCA recommending separating them for a few weeks and introducing gradually...I am keeping the away from each other at night for now....
