I thought so too but figured the vet knew better than I did. Sasha doesn’t want her babies out of the nest but when they’re nursing, I’ll move the other kittens to different box. I don’t know if this is a great idea but when they told me the other mama was hit by a car, I crumbled.

We’ve multiplied... The vet called this afternoon because someone dropped off 4 orphaned kittens and two couldn’t latch onto the bottle. Since we are the only patients with a nursing mama cat, they asked if we would foster. Sasha is now feeding eight.

Kittens 3 & 4 have arrived! One is an orange tabby and the other is primarily black with striped feet.

Definitely mucus plug. The contractions are coming every two to three minutes now.

Help! I think she’s in labor but I can’t tell for sure. Is this a baby??? She’s not really pushing.

Thank you all. I feel much better! If I go into the bathroom/closet area, she gets into her box and rolls onto her back for belly rubs but then leaves as soon as I do. Hopefully by this time tomorrow, I’ll be able to post kitten pictures.
