    Feral peeing on my clothes

Hi again. It seems another of our 3 feral inside/outside cats has made the house smell like pee. I don’t know if it’s one spot, many spots, marking squirts or whatever. Do the UV lights work? It’s a male cat, so I suspect he may have squirted in more than one place. He never used a box...

    Feral peeing on my clothes

The standoff. Black one is the pee kitty. The calico is the domineer. I’ll try keeping clothes off the ground.

    Feral peeing on my clothes

Lol. The new box is in the room. She hasn’t peed inside since. I do hope she will learn to use it. I’ve heard about putting some leaves on it and I’ll try the peed on paper towel too. Thanks.

    Feral peeing on my clothes

That is great insightful information. They are all fixed. There is only the one litter box that I did put up in the room but she peed on the clothes instead. I will get two more now that you mentioned it.

    Feral peeing on my clothes

Thank you for reading this and any suggestions. We have 3 feral cats. One male and two female. The male lees outside somewhere. One female does also but has used a litter box before. The other female, who just started warming up to us and not running, has started peeing upstairs in my...

    Cat always chewing back

Thanks! I’ll look for the flea product. I used one on her when the fleas were worse and it did not remove fleas at all. She has eaten friskies wet canned food for pretty much her whole life as do the two other ferals. I change the flavors up a lot but she really has no desire for hard food...

    Cat always chewing back

Our feral cat is probably like 8 yrs old. The last couple of years, she started to chew on her back. The while back has little dried skin scabs too. Why? She does have a few fleas sometimes but I’m sure she’s had them for way longer than a couple years. She does also do a lot of cleaning...

Thank you so much for the information.

Lays With Tail Tucked Under Body

Ive read and witnessed how a cat will walk with its tail down when it’s not well. I’m not sure about one of our “feral” cats. She’s fine all day but the last couple nights she will lay as shown in the picture. She hasn’t seemed sick prior to laying this way. I’m thinking maybe she’s afraid...

    Feral Scared, Jumpy

Thanks for the info. It really helps to hear others experiences. I think you’re right and theses coons have him scared. I’m going to see if there is anyone who can trap and release these coons without catching the cats. And it’s got to be low cost. Raccoons are the cutest most annoying...

    Feral Scared, Jumpy

I wonder if anyone else has seen this behavior or have any ideas what to do for a feral cat. We’ve had five feral cats for around 4 years and raised them from kittens. They are all outside cats but have been coming in more and more. We also ....... have pesky raccoons that won’t go away...

    What Just Happened!?!?

Probably right. It was just a little clip. It didn’t make much of a sound when the heater started. I had another thought. He has always been on guard as a feral. He was right next to a floor pot with fake flowers that stick out. Maybe he bumped it and freaked out thinking it was a...

    What Just Happened!?!?

I hope that it was only just a burn. I would hate to think he jolted out of his skin in pain or with something serious. I also thought that maybe possibly his paw stepped on something sharp. I looked on the floor and I saw a little fingernail clipping. I just feel so bad. He’s a nice cat...

    What Just Happened!?!?

Ok. We’ve cared for 5 feral cats and they’re all about 4 years old. One a moment ago was on the floor. I lit a kerosene heater and he moved. Then, he about scared me to death by blood curdling scream and jumping out of his skin and hissed. He did it for like 3 or 4 seconds. I can’t...
