It’s 8 days old, she was spayed last Thursday. I’m gonna call the vet, but can I ask why you think so? I’m just not sure what I’m looking at! This is my first cat.

I’m not sure when my kitty’s incision started looking like this, it’s not alarmingly scary (maybe because I just don’t know what to expect) , but I don’t know what it means. She’s still acting her usual self!

Wish mine wouldn’t bother hers :’0 she gets to licking not even 5 minutes after I take it off every now and then, so I have to stop her and pt the collar back on :’( My Mom ordered a soft e collar on her own for kitty though, hopefully it keeps her from reaching the incision!

She was spayed Thursday, today is Day 5. So 9 more days until the stitches should dissolve, right? I never read about spay stitches needing to manually come out, I thought they all dissolved?

She finally urinated in the box! It took a bit of struggle with her e collar, but she did it! She didnt go as much as I’d expect, but she went!

She hates me getting anywhere near it, so I had to sneak an I undershot while I fed her a bit of wet food.

its been a day since my kitty has been spayed and I’ve only seen her urinate once (on the carpet - the same day she got fixed, and it was only a little). She hasn’t gone again since and day 2 is ending. Should I worry?

I’m confused! It says cats don’t like coconut oil, but my best bud’s cat goes crazy for it. And I’m seeing plenty of comments about other cats loving it down here too! Hmmm :headscratch:

I got a bunch of calming replies last night (thanks a ton)! I gave her time to run around this morning about 6-8:00 before putting her back in her big box so I coule sleep 3 more hours (I wasn’t ready to wake up but I had to feed her and get her water, make sure she got time to use the litter...
