Kitty was picky about eating too, but he would still eat. Have you tried B12 shots? Those can boost the immune system, I remember Kitty reacted very well to those.
You could start treatment I guess and see if she improves, that will tell you too if it is lymphoma or not. It's a shame that there...
His condition was not good but it wasn't that bad, not that we thought he was going to be gone so soon. He had lost some weight and was having some episodes of diahrrea. But otherwise he was his old himself going out, jumping into things, eating normal... He had had also some kind of...
All of the above is right.
We used Petabis Organics (it is based on olive oil) for Kitty in his last days. I think it made him comfortable. I analyzed the solution and it was mainly CBD, you don't want any THC on it.
Polyethylene glycols and polypropylene glycols are almost everywhere in food...
Just reading your post right now. So sorry you are going through all this. Lymphoma is one of the most devastating cancers. I too lost my soul cat last year due to large cell lymphoma. We caught it too late and one day he went away to die on his own, he decided for us. We tried everything...
Sending you good thoughts.
I too lost my soul cat (avatar pic) to large cell lymphoma. I know too well how devastating this awful disease can be. We caught it late and there was no time for chemo. Hopefully your Leroy can pull it through and you can enjoy your precious time with him, every...
I know too well this devastating disease, as our Kitty had exactly the same symptoms you describe. We caught it late too, and decided not to go with chemo because it would have made his life more miserable, and now looking back I am very glad we didn't. It would not have made any difference...
We did this trip from Europe (Spain) to the US with our cat a few years ago. It was much easier than we initially thought, our cat was semi-feral at that time and he behaved like a champion. No sedatives needed. We did 3 planes in total, I think American Airlines was the airline. We only had to...
I just read your first post today. The symptoms you described were exactly the same ones our cat Kitty had: upper respiratory problems that never went away, then later weight loss and vomiting. We took him to multiple vets, they did not know what the problem was. I did not know this wonderful...
If the weather is nice, YES, I think you should let him out. Outdoors cats have their way, they should always be free, they know when their time is coming and they know how to deal with it. We domesticate a few, but most of them are wild and they should follow their instincts.
I have been following this thread. Happy to hear Pallinas's issues with the thyroids are back in control! :hyper: Hopefully you'll soon figure out the other issues with the vomiting and chest fluids, one thing at a time seems to be always right...
I was going to suggest something similar. We gave Kitty something called Petabis, it is hemp oil:
CBD HEMP OIL 75 mg. SMALL BREED DOGS & CATS* - 75 mg. USDA Organic CBD Oil for Cats & Dogs*
It is sold in organic Petstores like Chuck & Don's.
It is supposed to ease pain and make them...
Just letting you know that you are in my thoughts, I have been following this thread as I do with all the ones dealing with lymphoma. I lost my Kitty last year to large cell lymphoma and I know how devastating this is and how quick it can progress. Hang in there, you are doing the right thing...
These are BEAUTIFUL words, I do understand. I am one of those people who quietly read some of these posts and I have been following Artie, he is such a handsome cat. Those words touched my heart, I just wanted to highlight them.
Sending good thoughts for you and Artie.
