My female cat Kimmy has recently been very stinky, according to my wife. I personally don't have much of a sense of smell. I have done vet visits, flea meds, groomers, baths, everything. Today I noticed she had some gunk in and around her ear and noticed her one ear was very nasty. The other...
Well, good news! I was up all night with the baby waiting for her to “have to go.” I kept placing him/her in the litter box, and they kept hopping out! Finally, I buried a piece of poo with my hand to model for them...and they looked at me like “Ooooh!” And they pooped in the box! When I got up...
Well, minutes after making this post we found a little surprise on the couch. :)
Same thing as the pee, I moved the poo to the litter box and showed him how to bury it. Any tips for litter training much appreciated!
Oh, and I should note he has peed at lease once...on a towel. ;) As soon as he did, we took him to the litter box and I pawed at the sand and let him do the same. I found some smaller than usual poops in their too, but I can't tell which cat left them. I cannot say for sure if he has pooped yet...
I post here infrequently about my two adult cats, Kimmy and Galahad. Never thought there would be a baby in the house, but here we are...
Yesterday morning as I left for work, I heard a very loud noise coming from my truck. I checked everywhere, but I couldn't find the source. Finally, I popped...
Hi, all. The other day my cat Kimmy was resting with my wife and we noticed a small bug on her. My wife claimed it was a flea, but other than this one instance, we haven't encountered any more. Both my cats are indoor only and do not have any interaction with outdoor animals. Both my cats groom...
I have a new development. Galahad is going to the vet first thing Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, with the holiday tomorrow I doubt there will be any openings.
I went into the litter box room to find many pee spots. This was over the span of maybe a couple hours. These were full pee spots that...
I will look into multiple litter boxes. Our apartment is rather small, so there aren't a whole lot of places to put one. Luckily, we are moving to a much larger house fairly soon! :D
An update on Galahad...he seems to be doing better. The day we came back he was very lethargic and would no get...
Thanks for the quick responses. After reading about blockages, I decided to take Galahad to the vet this morning! The vet said it was an bladder infection, which I assume rules out a dangerous blockage! Yikes! They gave me an antibiotic to deliver via syringe. I gave him the first dose this...
Hello,
I recently moved my litter box into my office. I was born with a lack of smell, so it saves my girlfriend a lot of grief. :p It also lets me better monitor my cats when they have to go.
I noticed my boy, Galahad, squatting right next to the litter box and peeing. When I checked to...
I would google vets in your area and call one. Maybe check reviews if there are many listed. If she has lived outdoors most of her life, she should already be used to the dark.

They're probably closed right now. Call in the morning and they should answer. If they are not available, call your local animal shelter and ask about a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. It should be fairly cheap to fix both you cats...fixing two cats and many kittens...not so cheap!
