I've never had a food issue with Chewy, but since others have mentioned the great customer service, I feel like sharing that about a year ago, we got a small, like 6x6 canvas, portrait of one of our cats from them in the mail one day!! It wasn't even an exact painting of the photo I had uploaded...
Hey there, I'm sorry your boy has been having these issues! I apologize in advance for tagging on to your thread. I have been MIA from TSC for a while, but here I am again now, because of a similar situation with my Ruth who is a Fluffmaster Supereme. Shelter said DMH, I say long hair. Anyway...
Everything bagel with cream cheese. I've finally found a decent bagel place in SoCal and it's near my work, so yesterday on my lunch break I bought a few for the BF and I for the weekend.
No idea. Its 2pm, I ate a big everything bagel about an hour ago for breakfast/lunch. It's hot, I'm going to be watching a football game (CFL) on TV at 4pm, so I dont think I want to be cooking. I'll probably just throw together a salad. Yeah.
Yep, pretty much 20% for servers, drivers, haircuts, and for our lawn guy we tip a month's amount at Christmas. At least a dollar a drink for bartenders. Usually more unless they're just really doing the bare minimum then a buck a beer. If I have cash on me, I try to tip in cash. If service is...
Well, I got a check for $26.10 this week from Embrace. Woooo! I dont think my vet sent in the claim from january though. I need to take Ruth for her checkup next week so I'll ask about it. But yeah, they processed my two claims from August and reimbursed what they should have. So far, so good...
I am, yeah... :ohwell: I used to eat almost anything when I was a kid, but as I got older, i got pickier. I became vegetarian 20 years ago (yikes that makes me feel old saying that!), so there's that pickiness, and aside from that, I hate cilantro, avocado (and I live in CA since 2007), curry...
We've got 3 smoke detectors, one in each bedroom and 1 in the hall area which would pick up any kitchen emergency. We also have a CO alarm which we had to replace recently because it was beeping, even after putting new batteries in, and it turned out it had expired. We've been in the house for 9...
The BF and I go on vacations whenever we're able to, and we have 2 friends (well, 3 but 2 are married. So 2 houses of friends I guess) who live close to us and who come over a lot so they know our cats well and know that I'm a paranoid catmom, so usually at least one of them is around to stop by...
Thanks for the responses. I'll still ask the vet, but yeah I probably would get different responses from different vets.. I just want the kitties to be both healthy and happy! And they're happy without treats, as long as the bag is in the drawer. Out of sight, out of mind...
Oh you're right about making sure the web address is right! I gotta make sure mine is, I usually do Amazon on my phone but I got a new phone a few months ago and haven't thought about it. I had my smile as our our local SPCA but I also buy cat food and stuff from their store nextdoor which...
Hi!:wave3:I used to be a regular like 10 or so years ago, but have been away for a while, and I'm trying to get back into the community... because yer a great crowd!
So.... I'll get around to asking my vet in the next week or 2 when I take Rose to get weighed and hope she's not losing,:yess...
Probably valentine's day because, coincidentally, it always seems we want to go out for dinner that night and then remember. "Oh wait, it's valentine's day, everywhere will be crowded." The "we" being my bf and I. We do get each other cards just for fun and that's that. Once we got each other...
I've used the same one for about 15 years now, it's a Magic Hat brewery bottle opener ring. Not like those really small ones that you get as freebies anywhere companies are giving away freebies, this is a decent sized one, flat and a little longer than my keys, with the Magic Hat star logo kind...
Well, the hashbrowns came out pretty decent, but there is room for improvement. Not quite sure how to cook them enough or at what temp so they're crispy on the outside as I flip parts if them over, but not just get starchy on the inside?
Anyone good at potatoes here who can offer some advice?
For some reason I want to make hashbrowns. I've never made them at home, but I love them. And I hardly ever use my mandoline, so.. hashbrowns tonight! Soon, since its finally cooled down. We've got both meat and veggie sausages in the fridge, so I think those will go quite nicely with the...
Oh, I *am* lacto ovo vegetarian, have been for 20 years now, just about to the day actually. (Mom couldnt make me eat meat once I headed off to college!) I'm just sayin, I could skip the omelettes and other eggy foods, but cheese... I love it.
