I trim Ghost's nails because he catches them on everything. Earlier this year he got caught on the mattress and ripped one out. Ever since then I try to keep his freaky long claws short. He's old and doesn't really care when I trim them, my husband kind of holds him while I do the trimming.

I'm loving all of the trees! So, I've noticed that all of the cats are more into the tree skirt than the tree. Potato sleeps on it and Moki tries to sleep under it. I've only found one ornament on the floor and I'm not sure who is to blame for it being there. :)

I really don't feel grown up even at 30. I still do a lot of the stuff I did as a child and I generally don't feel bothered by adult issues. Don't get me wrong, my husband and I do live in the real world we just choose to stay kids at heart! :)

Volbeat, my husband and I saw them a few months ago and they put on an amazing show! Also Rise Against.

So far so good, we put shatter proof ornaments on the tree yesterday and they are all still there! Some of the cats keep trying to get under the tree skirt but that's it. Also, the snowman tree is super cute!

They should still pay you for the time you put in, I'd get a hold of them if they don't contact you soon. They also could just be waiting to call you back in, either way it's better to know for sure.  I worked a temp job where they were really bad about calling me at the last minute to come in...

Only one of our dogs has been exposed to a Christmas tree, the 7 cats and other two dogs have never seen one. We just put one up today and are afraid to put ornaments on it until we see how everyone reacts. So far only Rin has been testing my resolve but she's always like that.
