This is what I did.  I cut them up first and put small bits into their minced food, then over a week the bits got bigger.    I never fed pinkies to  my cats.

Hmm... not really a helpful answer.   I'll take their advice, but it's a one line reply that didn't actually address my question and doesn't give me a lot of confidence that they actually know the answer or thought about the question much...

Thanks LDG, That's a pity to hear that.  I really hate the little caps - they always seem to pop open and spray everywhere for me. I did write to BioProsper Labs (Nexabiotic) but I haven't heard back from them yet.  I'll let you know if they answer differently.

Hi Peaches, As LDG noted they're gassed with CO2 and frozen.  It's painless and hygienic. I would have thought the blood would be high in protein and iron too.  A lot of places in Asia still use blood in their cooking regularly.  I never developed much of a liking for it myself but I don't...
