They said no need for the test and to keep with terramycin. His eye has pretty much been the same since I went to the vet. Not quite all healed but not too bad either. Just the little bit of scar tissue on the side and his eye is still off color of the other one.
Well our wallets are hurting but our babies are healthy! Little guy may have a bit of scarring but his eye is doing better and yes we have to keep him in the terramycin longer. But he is almost fully healed now.
Also they are negative for felv!
I'm fostering them out of pocket not associated with anyone. I can bring it up when I take my other guy to the vet for his eye. Just can't afford this visit already so hope nothing is wrong with him.
He is just the strange one of the bunch. All 5 others aren't doing these things, and the other 1 or 2 that weren't using the litter box just needed help once or twice being put in there and are doing great with it now.
Did I mention he also pees in some really strange spots? I found a little...
I'm fostering some kittens and one of them I have noticed several times him attempting to eat "non" foodstuffs.
I caught him eating feathers from a chewtoy, a paper towel that only had water on it and found out he had eaten some yarn after he threw it up.
He has access to momma and food at...
We have him scheduled for Friday. New Vet, I really hope they can help him. Hopefully we can afford it too..I got the prices for two of the tests, and I'm gonna be asking how much everything costs the whole way lol hopefully somehow we will manage.
Inside cats should stay inside...I noticed that was already talked about quite a bit at the start of your thread...plus you would have to worry about the cat getting harmed or possibly picking up fleas, ticks, diseases, infections etc....you also have to worry about them possibly never coming...
I know :/ if I had the means to do that he would have already been again. I might be able to take him at the end of the week but I have absolutely no way to do that right now, unless a miracle happened and I don't have any of those.
His eyes look the same color today! The reddish/greyish stuff on the side of his eye still seems to be getting bigger but the eye itself is looking clearer. I'm confused, is he getting better? Or is he not?
His eye started getting worse without meds, maybe I did not give the terramycin enough time to work? I've been told to continue the treatment with it, until I can get him to new vet I don't know what else to do. Giving him nothing won't make it better either. I believe he may have...
Well I just learned some terrifying news, a bit off topic of the eye which is still not getting better despite medications :(
The person I got them from to foster, told me that all but one of the last litter died....and well possibly of FelV! :( Wish I would have known this sooner...
It's fine and I know I wrote a bit of a novel there haha.
she has gotten somewhat better than she was, but I just miss when she use to be my cuddle bug.
I have natural pet anxiety and stress drops no smell or flavor, just use in water
I also have whisker city at ease spray haven't really...
Thank you. That article had tons of info but so far I have either tried it or it's not something that will help, still looking and have tried to contact some assistance places in the area waiting for responses.
