I'm sorry to hear about your cats. I cannot imagine losing two. I am in pieces and I only had Midnight for a very short time. Thank you so much for the kind words. Her presence is already greatly missed around here. ❤️

    Very sick “community” cat!!

The horrible condition she was in and all of the suffering that she endured just broke my heart. I've been crying all day. She climbed into my bed and curled up against me on the first night that she was with me and I knew that she was special. I think that when you spend a lot of time with...

    Very sick “community” cat!!

This will unfortunately be my last update on Midnight. She has been peacefully put to rest today. I brought her to a different vet this morning after she still would not eat and the steroids hadn't helped. It turns out that the last two vets didn't get her diagnoses correct at all. Her gums...

    Very sick “community” cat!!

She is drinking water. No food at all though. I even put some wet food in her mouth and she spit it out. I can try to syringe feed her a bit but i'm not sure she will even swallow it. I just gave her the first steroid dose. I'm praying it will make her eat.

    Very sick “community” cat!!

I took her into the bathroom with me while I showered last night and had my husband do the same! It seemed to help her nose a lot! She just will NOT eat. I even put some food in her mouth and she spit it out. She is much weaker already. I'm going to try a few more tricks to try to get her to...

    Very sick “community” cat!!

Thank you for the helpful information! She will be starting the pred tonight. She is not a fan of having her mouth or nose touched so it might be a struggle to get her to take it. Any suggestions for that? Also, how concerned should I be that she won't eat? It's been 24 hours. The vet did not...

    Very sick “community” cat!!

We just got back from the vet. They said that her intestines are swollen and they think she has lymphoma. This was the same office but a different Dr that saw her this time. She still has not eaten anything. They gave us steroids to give her for a few weeks. They said it could also be IBD. The...

    Very sick “community” cat!!

Unfortunately our little girl is not doing so great. I thought she was improving, but I woke up to her vomiting all over my bed last night. She also had diarrhea. She drank a bunch of water afterwards but has not eaten anything yet. She skipped her breakfast. I know that you give dogs rice and...

Lol! Sorry to laugh but that is too funny. Thank you for the info 😊 It sounds like quite an experience. I'll be praying that she doesn't go into heat anytime soon! I want her to recover a bit before she has surgery.

    Very sick “community” cat!!

We are trying to come up with the perfect name for her so it's taking a bit of time! Lol We have two other cats and they cover everything in their box, they like to be very thorough so I'm hoping that they will teach her what to do once they are able to meet in a few weeks.
