I had the vet check stinkie's mouth and she said it's in very bad shape. She said he needs surgery to have all of his teeth extracted. She said he'll be able to eat anything and will be like a different cat afterwards, which sounds great. But it still worries me. How can he chew? He loves dry...
I feel weird asking about this but here we go. Pepperoni and Monster were both neutered at about 6 months old. They are now about 2 years old, about a month apart in age. Once the other day and again this morning I caught Pepperoni (boy) on top of Monster (boy) pretty much going to town (pardon...
Can't figure out what to give Stinkie for Christmas this year. He loves getting inside sacks but all of the crinkle sacks I've checked out seem to have small holes and Stinkie is a big cat. He's 10 years old, spoiled, doesn't care much about toys, loves to sharpen his claws (but he already has a...
Stinkie is a 10 year old male cat. He was neutered as a kitten. I've had him since he was just maybe 5 or 6 months old when I rescued him from an animal shelter. Anyway, he loves to be outside during the day, although he has a curfew and has be back inside by a certain time. But he's bad about...
Stinkie has a skin disease and I use to allow the steroid shots for him. But after doing research online and finding out that it could shorten their life I haven't let the vet give him one since then. When I asked the vet about it, he did not deny this fact. I do have some trouble controlling...
Well I can promise you this one is unique. My youngest cat, who we normally just call "Poss" or "Possie P", her full name is "Possie P Possum Woo Woo". It started out as just Possum. I'm really not even sure where any of it came from. I'm a southerner. We have imagination! lol
I have been using Frontline for several years now & it just doesn't seem to be working anymore. I want to be sure I use something safe. I'm considering trying advantage. So I was just hoping to get some opinions as to which one has worked best for you?
Stinkie has allergic dermatitis due to a flea allergy. Lately its gotten so much worse. His fur is thinning, he's had a temperature, and he's constantly scratching & washing himself. So I took him to the vet today hoping there was something he could give me that would help him. He gave me this...
Ok. I'm siiiiick. And every time I catch a cold or flu or something, I worry about the possibility of my cat catching it from me. Is that possible? That's my question. And obviously I worry about giving to people too, but the heck with them, I'm worried about my cat. lol. And I know it's...
Impressive. No one is walking around naked?? lol
Nah. Jk. I wouldn't do that even if I was invisible. I can't think of anything though. I'd much rather be able to fly or move things with my mind.
Thank you all so much. Y'all really have helped and made me feel better. I knew cat lovers would be the ones that could do it! I am trying to work through this anxiety and have been praying about it. I really don't know where it's all coming from. I knew it was going to be a hard number to hit...
Ok. So I'm turning 30 in June. And I know it's not THAT old. But still I'm kinda freaking out about it. I know this sounds crazy but in the back of my mind, I never thought I'd make it to 30. This is not a new feeling. Been there for a long time. Don't ask me why. I don't know. But anyway, I...
I've actually found that is sometimes the best way to do it, depending on the situation & cat. I've tamed many cats that way. He/she can be just terrified & all it takes is one gentle touch to make a new friend. It works for me.
Yep, Stinkie is a genious! Seriously though, he is very smart. When he is doing something he shouldn't or heading in a direction he shouldn't all I have to do is say "stinkie no" and he'll stop and look at me. Then I can shake my head "no" or say "no" again and he'll stop doing it & turn back...
