She had the skin issues before we got her, they just thought it was ringworm and didn't do any tests. They do give her lots of space. She seems pretty happy and content from what I can tell. We have plenty of cat trees, beds, hide outs etc.
Ok I'm going to try and reply all in one comment! Lol
So putting her in the bedroom with me would work for maybe a day. My cats are all super dependent on me and they all curl up in my bed at night so locking them out of the room for weeks would be sad and stressful for everyone. Also Murphy...
She just had revolution for the first time yesterday and hasn't been groomed much since I applied it. I unfortunately don't have an extra room to keep her in. I have 7 cats and one already lives in our spare bedroom. I'm all out of spare bedrooms!
Murphy is now on prednisolone once a day for 5 days then every other day for 10 doses as well as amoxicillin. I had to take her in to the vet because she had hot spots all over her neck and started developing a rodent ulcer on her mouth, she's also been losing fur for awhile. I've been doing the...
I hope everyone had a great holiday/new year! I found out that I might be able to qualify for a grant from Frankie's Friends. The only stipulation is I don't know if I would be approved for the grant until he is brought in for his surgery and then I am either accepted or denied on the spot. This...
Thank you! I think they did it wrong because there is no glue at the tip of the caps where the end of the claws are, her claws look like they were trimmed and all her fur around her claws is torn off and sticking to the nail cap.. making me think they put the glue on her nail itself or around...
Hi everyone! I finally have an estimated bill for Sam's surgery. We discovered he has a blocked salivary gland when he went in for his neuter. He has significant swelling under his tongue which could block his airway and make it hard to breathe if not removed. I am asking for financial help for...
You guys.. :sniffle:
Murphy just got these claw caps put on by a vet tech the other day and I just noticed one is missing and this is the state of her claw. This isn't normal, right??
Thank you! Yes, she is currently eating stella& chewy's freeze dried raw rabbit and occasionally some instinct limited ingredient rabbit pate and meal toppers. No other meat protein of any kind on either of them!
Update: The put her on amoxicillin and gave me an ointment to put on 2x a day. It seems to be healing okay but she does keep scratching it open sometimes. I had to order some claw caps and received them yesterday so tomorrow I will call and make an appointment for the vet techs to put them on...
When we first got Murphy the vet tech we got her from (she was fostering her) suspected that she had ringworm so they were medicating it while we were waiting for her to come home to us. However once we had her and took her to our vet they said it was not ringworm, and it wasn't getting any...
I have 7 cats right now including a diabetic and they all love it and are doing great on it. Their fur is very soft and they are healthy. I am only feeding the classic pates and a couple of the chunky (they are low carb). They do have quite a bit of phosphorus so wouldn't be good for a kitty...
