Advise me on our Cat's problems

I would seriously consider ruling out a medical reason for the urinating before making any decisions. Many many times it’s caused by a medical condition usually a Urinary infection.

How long does it take for a Stomatitis ulcer in mouth to go away?

I know it sounds counterintuitive but since cats swallow food whole I’ve always found small kibble better that soft food for stomatitis cats. My kitties when they would have flat ups would always get the soft food caught in the pockets of inflammation and it was painful to watch them try to get...

Fat cat that never ate a lot

Cats are like humans, some are naturally big and some are naturally small. I’ve got a 6 lb cat that eats more than my 15 lb cat.

If my cat needs insulin. I can't see blood results until Thursday.

You will be fine just make sure your cat has free access to food at all times to keep the blood sugar stable.

No XRays as they are unsure of his behavior. If the steroids don’t help that’s the next step.

    Pulled Tail Syndrome

The vet initially told me that the tail was down because he was in pain. Which I could understand. When I noticed it was not being held down but dangling down I called again yesterday. The vet is in today and is supposed to call me. Before I wanted to make any accusations I just wanted to see if...

    Pulled Tail Syndrome

I posted earlier about a stray I took in to get neutered returning with a limp tail. A member posted about some of his or her TRN cats returning from the vet injured from getting manhandled at the vet to restrain them. I’m thinking someone at the vets office grabbed my cats tail to restrain him...

How long does it take for a Stomatitis ulcer in mouth to go away?

Glad it’s helped. I had 3 cats, a momma and her 2 babies end up on my porch one day all ended up with this condition. The mamma lived to 17 and the 2 babies are now 19 and still going. It’s a condition that can be managed with a good quality of life. Good luck!!

How long does it take for a Stomatitis ulcer in mouth to go away?

A week or 2 is soon. It will take longer than that for it to be completely gone. If you can see it all the time it should got from a red red color, to red, to pink red, to pink and then go away. The change in color is what to look for. If you have that things are improving. The first change...

How long does it take for a Stomatitis ulcer in mouth to go away?

It will take awhile they do not go away right away. As long as it’s not looking red and angry that’s a good sign.

    Cat tail limp after neuter

I’m not sure how it would have been injured. It doesn’t look broken and his spine looks ok as he is walking fine. There is no feeling in the last 2/3 of the tail As well as no movement. If they did injure him restraining him I doubt I’ll ever get an straight answer. A stray cat without a working...
