    Krista's Care

Well, you know what they say about opinions, and that is hers. Yours, on the other hand, is based on how she responds to you and her actions on a daily basis. ;)

    My Feral And Rescued Cats

Thanks for sharing these, @Graceful-Lily and Fayola! What a little beauty, and that's a great wand toy she has!

Fluid in the lungs? I'm a little confused.

Just FYI, my Tarifa sits sternal recumbent with her paws tucked in at times. When she's doing this, she sometimes falls asleep and so her head is touching the floor/carpet/bed. It doesn't look comfortable to us, but if she wasn't comfortable she wouldn't be lying this way. She is healthy...

    Krista's Care

See? This is a cat who wants to live and enjoy life with you! You know her games and you know how to do subterfuge! ;) I'm a true crime junkie too. ID is the reason I pay way too much for TV.

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

SO glad and relieved, as you must be, too! See? (IDK about catnip spray on the carpet, though. That is giving her the message that it's okay to scratch the carpet. Your parents may not want her to do that. A scratching pad or post would be much better for the catnip spray, don't you agree?)...

    My Feral And Rescued Cats

Yes, classical music is amazing. As for opera, I'm not a huge fan, but there are some singers I love including, but not limited to, Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, and the immortal Callas. I sure hope no one got in! and that your neighbors do watch out and are NOT involved in any funny...

    CAT CAMP!

(Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd in this corner, wearing the orange stripes, it's @1 bruce 1! In the other corner, wearing the black, is JACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSON GALAXY! Come out with your paws up!) :flail:

Fluid in the lungs? I'm a little confused.

Not with the profile you've already posted, IMHO. You say "whenever I'm near her" which also brings to mind a question -- do you wear perfume or other scented preparations? She may be experiencing some irritation from those. Cats' sense of smell is many times more sensitive than humans' and a...

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

Well, there you go then! As long as she has access to a litterbox, fresh water, and some form of food, I wouldn't worry. She'll come out.

    CAT CAMP!

*Swat meets, @1 bruce 1?* I can see it now. You, dressed up in a cat costume, doing batting practice with Jackson Galaxy dressed up in a cat costume. Now THAT's entertainment.

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

Can you explain to your dad that it's really important to lure her out of hiding and that food and treats are THE way to do this? I mean, I'd think he'd know that, but... :winkcat: ;):hangin::goodluck:

    CAT CAMP!

Well, everyone has his/her own opinion and yours is as valid as anyone's, @Azazel, but I'd guess you're definitely in the minority about that here. I know of most of these cat celebrities and I respect and love each and every one of them for the good they do for cats and people who love cats...

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

She'll emerge from her hiding place if she's inside. Trust me on this. Leave fresh water out, and food, including some high quality dry food if you have it. She will get hungry/thirsty and she will come out.

    Krista's Care

I had serious problems with Adams product years ago, so will not use. I have always used, and trusted, Advantage. No other topical for my cats. Others I've tried have not been as effective. For the environment, I trust FleaBusters. It is a borax-based product that kills the eggs as well as...

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

Well, if she CAN'T get out, then she has to be in.

Fluid in the lungs? I'm a little confused.

Well, WTH, @phoebephan, NOTHING lasts and NO ONE lives forever. I don't like that kind of thinking, personally. I'm much more a "where there's life, there's hope" type of person. She is not showing signs of being uncomfortable or in pain, and she is still eating, even if not a normal ration...

Virus concern from cat who had fip?

Okay, so you can be absolutely sure she's in there. Have you looked under beds to see if she may have clawed a hole in the gauze and climbed in there if you have that kind of beds? My Elvis did this when he first joined our family. In cupboards and closets? Under desks and chests of drawers...
