    What’s The Best Cat Litter?

The litter I really like is Vetbasis. It is made from corn cobs and only has the slightest scent of lavender when first put into a litter box. After that the litter itself has no odor whatsoever. It does a great job containing the smell of cat waste and clumps wonderfully. Additionally the...

    Vetbasis Cat Litter

This stuff has been phenomenal for my cats and I am considering using it exclusively. Does anyone have any long term experience with this litter? I have only been using it a few weeks in one litter box and have been very impressed. I'd be interested to learn about people's experiences with...

    Hairballs

...That can help; I feed raw too and rarely see a hairball since I add 1 raw yolk per lb of food. Also Nature's Plus- Egg Yolk Lecithin (added to food--my first choice after raw yolks), Vetbasis- Hairball Gel, or Vet's Best- Cat Lube. These three are my top choices ingredient-wise. HTH a bit,

    Vomiting...next step? (long)

Not unless I had done probably a quadrouple cat-proofing of the place; not unless this "someone" was spending more time with him than twice daily pilling; not unless I were convinced that the "someone" was as skilled as I in watching for and detecting behavioural changes...in a word and as...

What Works Well For Constipation In Cats?

There's also Vetbasis, a petroleum-free hairball/laxative gel. My kitty is very resistant to eating the gels. If/when he gets constipated again, I'm going to try the pumpkin as others have suggested. I hope Maverick feels better

Kitty doesn't like.......what else to use?

Vetbasis just came out with a second flavor - salmon. I haven't seen the ingredients list yet, but would think it's the same good ingredients (and NO sugars...vetbasis is great for diabetic kitties)

Kitty doesn't like.......what else to use?

Try Vetbasis Hairball Gel. My cats like the flavor (chicken) and I like it because it doesn't contain petroleum (as most hairball products do). It contains good ingredients like taurine and vitamins.

    Vomiting Kitties =x

Sharky, that's exactly why I didn't buy any of the ones I saw today (even at the good pet food store, the few they had all seemed full of sugar). A quick online search revealed Vetbasis as a sugar-free possibility. What do you recommend?
