Thanks! Kiki doesn't really leave much room. I wonder if she has a mild uti from that, actually. Whatever it's from, better safe than sorry.
She doesn't mind me sitting by the box when she's using it, so I could try that and see how she acts.
Recently, I had some people over to help move some heavy stuff. I don't know if it's related, but Kiki peed on some blankets and trills at me when she's in her litter boxes. She's going normally and I'm keeping a litter box chart, but I'm getting her a urinalysis and parasite test anyway...
Could it be that your cat doesn't like the litter or the box? I'm thinking that the old one makes him think that it's painful to use it. If he gets a clean bill of health from the vet, I might try a brand new litter box with different litter.
I'm sure my cat would love it too!
Have you looked at the tiki cat brand? My cat liked all of those I bought and she's an extremely picky eater. Tiki is one of the foods I rotate. Mostly we stick with the after dark cans, but there are fish ones too.
My last cat had FIC, so I'm wary of anything with the potential to cause crystals. I agree that cats really don't need greens, unless it's their catnip or cat grass. I'm always looking for better foods to rotate. Last time, I got a bag of orejin, but Kiki didn't really like it.
Recently, my petsmart began stocking the chunky/gravy cans of Nulo wet food. I thought these were pretty cool because I've always liked the Nulo brand and Kiki won't eat the pate ones.
So I grabbed a can and read the ingredients... And there's spinach in some of them. I bought the cans...
I got a bag of regional red a couple days ago at petco. I opened it last night and was planning on starting to acclimate my cat to this food, but it looks a little weird...
There's a few hairs here and there. Not much, but enough to notice. Also, is this coating normal? Is this food safe to...
Kiki is my cat's name, btw. I got her a few different brands of wet food tonight.
The one I tried feeding for her 8pm feeding is Purely Fancy Feast natural white chicken meat in those little oval containers. She ate it all :o
I didn't get the fancy feast cans because it looks like they...
My vet told me to transition her to adult food after she got spayed. He even told me to put her on Fromm. She was spayed at 5 months and was already 7 lbs. I was told that Fromm was ok for all life stages.
She used to be on instinct rabbit formula, but that made her itchy.
I'm interested in homade foods. She loves raw ground chuck. Hates cooked turkey. I really want to get her on the raw diet. But I'm super nervous about Taurine. There's chicken livers for sale at my grocery store, though.
My 10 month old kitten is currently on fromm dry food and nulo wet food. She seems to get bored easily and I switch her wet food between nulo and fromm.
Recently, she started turning her nose up at wet food of both brands.
She still gobbles up her dry food. She also loves raw meat. When I...
If that ever happens, I'll probably end up feeding all canned or canned and raw.
I read a bunch of dry food bags before deciding on a food and all of them that I've seen have either peas, corn, or wheat gluten.
My cat was previously on instinct LID rabbit formula dry and wet.
While on it, she was displaying symptoms such as itching ears, itching her belly, sneezing, and she also had moderate dandruff.
I tried to tell my vet about it. He really didn't think it was a food allergy, but all the...
