Miko Cat Food

I just got Miko today for my boy n he smelled of it n nibbled at it n drank alittle of the juice...n walked away like huh...But has anyone else's cat did this to the Miko???Any ideas or tips to entice him with it??Or is it like just give it some time???But in my opinion when a cat walks away l away like that ..they dont like it...Hes picky..he wants his FF GRILLED CHICKEN...I KNOW...BUT IM TRYING TO FEED HIM GRAIN FREE...

I've not tried this food with my boy, but maybe try mixing it with his FF a little?

Its basically chicken breast small shreds..very small..n looks like in chicken broth...U know how it goes..once they get around 11 yrs n if they have been picky all their life...its sort like u just have to feed them what they will eat...FANCY FEAST GRILLED CHICKEN..he loves..n the ingredients aint too BAD...I was trying to go grain free...And NO he dont like the fancy feast pate grain free...Tried that...But NOW I do have him on a grain free dry food...for alittle at night to tide him over thru the night...Not alot..And the calories aint BAD...its ingredients aint too bad...But he only gets it at night..I think its 1/4 cup to get him through the night..Cause I had to calculate the calories from the wet in the day....He sometimes gets 2 cans aday..one in morning..n one after lunch or mid afternoon...n then his little 1/4 cup grain free dry at night for nibbling through the night...Wish I could find some free samples...for grain free wet...different brands..BE NICE...U KNOW ...THEN I COULD USE HIS FF AS PART OF HIS ROTATION WET FOOD...

One of mine can a be a little picky with flavor, I get your frustration, I guess it comes down to you have to pick your battles, I just don't feed him the brand he doesn't like, his brother eats it no problem, the good thing is he eats wet food for you and that is important,keep trying the new food as suggested mix with Fancy Feast he might surprise you
