Knowing far too many people with real, serious addictions (we all know what those are without needing to recite them) I know I'm not addicted to anything. I have things I like a whole lot but know I can live without if push came to shove.

Coffee, chocolate, reading, TCS, kittens, gin and tonic.

I have a very stressful life and when I get home I make a G&T and go sit down with the kittens. Keeps me sane.

I have been fostering for about 5 years now and have kittens 5 wks to 3 mos. nearly all the time. It is a long story but I have not been able to foster since May. I have been in withdrawal. Hopefully in another month or so I will be able to foster again.

At the moment, I'm hooked on Popsicle Sicle Stacker Fruit Pops. I ate almost 2 boxes last week. I don't know why, I have been craving them lately.

If I don't get a daily dose of caffeine (and it's easiest just to drink a mug of coffee every morning), I'll get a really bad headache.
The first three days were the worst. I had a really bad headache and just felt like I needed a nap all the time. Once you get through that it's OK, I've actually got my energy back now.

No coffee for 8 days!

I have a severe sugar addiction. Not joking
Sugar cravings can mean you're low on protein. Try having a handful of nuts instead of something sweet.

Three weeks ago I would have said coffee and ciggies but good riddance to those things now.
Good for you! Mr Husband is almost up to the one month mark now. He started running again this week.

Coffee, definitely. I was addicted to cigarettes for 30 years too, that was definitely the hardest addiction to get over. I don't think you ever do. I gave up smoking, I gave up drinking. 19 years ago. Don't even ask me to ever give up my coffee, it's one of the few pleasures I have left!
I hear you on the cigarettes. I was a two-pack-a-day smoker for 20 years and quitting was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I tried a couple times, but always went back. I was like the woman in the Chantix commercial who would go out in the middle of a snowstorm for a pack of cigarettes, if I had to. I'd get up in the middle of the night, just for a cigarette.

To this day, if I smell cigarette smoke, I'll walk around and try to find who's smoking. And then I'll just....breathe. I loved smoking. Everything about it. I don't think it's something you can ever get completely over.

I can't start my day without coffee.
If my coffee comes in late, I'd surely always get migraines.
