SHe adjusts far better than I re her.
And, there in lies the key. Keep that in mind at ALL TIMES!! She thinks a lot less about it than you do, especially since she is feeling better now.

Wishing her all the best on her eye follow up! And, for you as well with all of the other 'stuff' going on. 'Crap' (or, 'stuff', for lack of better words) does seem to come in droves.

Update re the followup for our cat. Her lens was sharply scratched & this caused the Glaucoma. :(

Unknown how it was scratched as roommate keeps his elderly female cat in his room tho she can get out at times. Otherwise our cat may have gone down porch outside & had contact in apts courtyard, briefly, w/ a cat but dunno for sure as no evidence.

Eye doc says no, it was not a fall or kick type injury -- as g/f was hospitalized wk prior to me finding our cat very sick -- w/ the leaking eye & Glaucoma (& rushed her 8/15 to er vet) thus he said it was sharp trauma not blunt as in kick/falls, etc.

Also, integrity of other eye is good so just do a 6 mo. followup to see what it is like then. "It is NOT genetic Glaucoma link, as in this case", rather sharp cut said the lab as the result of the eye that was sent to U of Wisc. lab for eval. It was in fact sharp cutting-like & not blunt trauma.

TY all for keeping abreast of this situation I had develop a few wks ago. :)

TY both. :)

Yes, she really is full time inside yet often if we open front apt door she sneaks but only on porch she's older & wiser really most part. I think my roommate's cat has something to do w/ it & our cat & his -- do not get along. But it has been yrs together w/ them nothing new -- & unless in the chaos of g/f getting sick they met up in liv rm someway? I have no idea honestly after these cats spent several yrs together why/how all of sudden -- this occurred??
