Living room, eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms (one is now a computer/office room), and one bathroom. Oh, and a partially-finished basement.

10 I guess.

Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but my master bath is divided into a bathroom and dressing room. It's small; just a sink with counter and closet on your way into the bathroom. But it's really nice to have and very functional. So that's 6 rooms there. Then the foyer, living room, laundry room (more of a closet although you do step in to reach the machines), and kitchen/dining/office.

Ground floor: eat-in kitchen, living room, half bath. Second floor: bathroom and 3 bedrooms, one used as a study. Third floor: two rooms used for storage. Basement: two rooms, one used as a pantry, the other a combination furnace and laundry room.

sounds really nice!!!!
Not really, haha. He had a terrible time selling it. The ceilings are low and the windows are small so it's sort of dark, the walls are OSB, and the floors are cement, no basement. And no closets! But hey, it was cheap and now I own 6 acres to do whatever I want. Once I pay off the mortgage (5 years, if all goes well!) I'll take out another mortgage to build a new house on the land.

Sounds fun, what does one do in there?

I live in an open plan house. We have a bathroom, toilet, office and large LDK (living-dining-kitchen) downstairs. The upstairs bedroom is a loft, which overlooks the LDK.

The only bad thing about living here is the lack of rooms with doors. Makes it difficult when I need to keep the cats out of or in one place

I was just looking for a way to describe the little place at the back door, and I think it could well be a mudroom, so thank you W Willowy
That would be eight rooms, which makes my tiny little fishing cottage that is mainly a yoga space sound quite grand.

It's usually a back entryway, made with waterproof flooring, where one can clean off muddy children or towel off a muddy dog or leave one's muddy boots.
Oh, a genkan? I know you'll know what a genkan is.

:)

ETA I'm kind of disappointed that it's not a room where you can have a mud fight.
