~ Yes it keeps about 5 days. You can also freeze it if you want to keep it for a longer time. While the water is still warm I add Mrs. Dash®, some onion and garlic powder - but you can do that later when cooking. All those minerals are good for us ! :)
I'm definitely going to start saving my boiled pasta water once fall/winter comes and I start making soups again. Thanks for mentioning it.

Tonight I had a romaine mix salad, topped with chopped apple, walnut pieces and raisins. Wasn't sure what would work for a dressing, so I mixed a little orange juice and white vinegar together and drizzled it over the salad. Here's a pic.

Well...I was going to have hot dogs with cheese and onions, but I AM OUT OF CHEESE! How does this even happen? I could have sworn I bought cheese, but I AM OUT OF CHEESE!!!:fireblob::censored::soapbox::livid::argh::noway: I do, however, have some bacon thawed, so I suppose I'll either make bacon sandwiches or I'll do bacon, eggs, and biscuits. WHY IS THERE NO CHEESE??????????

:bawling:~ Everybody here is a better cook than me ...
Everybody but me. I am a horrible cook.

My neighbor and I stopped at Ledo's (a pizza place) yesterday and I got some Ravioli. It was the best I ever had. I brought home a pizza for tonight's dinner and I am really looking forward to it. They also have good pizza.

Veggie bacon cheeseburger on a poppyseed bun. (Fakin' bacon and veggie burger. But real cheddar.) And a 'salad' of just romaine, spinach and kalamata olives with vegan caesar dressing. I'm kinda still hungry so I might have some chocolate almond ice cream type thing that's actually really good.

Sigh. I can't eat heavy dairy like ice cream, it makes my stomach fight me, but if I could only give up cheese, I could def be vegan and like 50 pounds skinnier. But I love cheese!! :yummy: Oh, then there's the beer (and whisky, etc) that I don't want to give up... :drinking: Cheers!

We had a bunch of errands to run yesterday, so we stopped at a local Mexican restaurant for supper. Rick has some kind of burrito and I had beef fajitas. I really like their fajitas. Yum. They make really crappy margaritas, but excellent fajitas!

Since we're having lunch at the farmers' market today, we won't have much for dinner tonight. Probably some kind of salad or a sandwich.
