Yes, it’s normal as the eyes adjust to light. Just wipe them gently with a warm, damp cloth.

I'm pretty sure she's a girl, haha kinda hard to tell at this point. I really want to keep her now that she's become my little baby, I'm not sure my landlord will let her stay though. She's at least staying with us another few weeks while she needs to be fed every few hours.
The other thing is that even if we are allowed to keep her, we have a tiny little studio apartment and she wouldn't have much space to run around. Also the homes i found for her have other cats so she wouldn't be alone all day.
On the subject of other cats, how old should she be before I set up a playdate to introduce her to other cats. I want to make sure the other cats she might live with get along with her
