It's brought back memories for me and is another example of just how tough these little ones really are. I am so glad this didn't drag out.

Happy to hear you move on the enclosure plan. When it gets closer, there'll need to be a plan so that the builder doesn't spook the cats.

It's also been on my mind that it didn't seem the Vet offered anything at all for the eye discharge - that surprised me.

I investigated building a catio several months ago and found a company called Catio Spaces that sells plans for catios that you can build. They will also build them for you, but you need to live in the Seattle area! If you Google "catios California" there seem to be a few companies that build catios. I'm not sure just where you live (or how expensive these would be!) but maybe one of these companies is close enough to you and could build one for you. If not, you can find so much information, photos, and ideas for catios if you Google around, and then you can find a handyman to build one. Good luck!

there is another opening in the back that is closed off too.
She has a tube that goes into her bedroom.
I purchased this catio and modified with the corrugated roof for rain.
Seems like you will need a bigger catio, this one is kind of small.
I would start that catio thread, you will get all sorts of ideas. I am going to build a bigger catio some day, not soon, so I have been getting ideas.
I may purchase a pergola and modify that.
