Tea. I am happy with a cup of Typhoo, Yorkshire, or Barry's with cream and sugar on the cheap, but what I really enjoy is Black Cloud from Silk Road Teas. Beyond plain black tea, I like spicy chai (I mix my own with whatever tea I have on hand. I like a lot of cardamom and cloves in it.) and various versions of Earl Grey, particularly Taylor's of Harrogate. My favorite way to make Earl Grey is actually a Rosey London Fog. That is Earl Grey with a pinch of lavender, steamed milk (I usually heat and froth some half and half, if I am to be honest.), a splash of vanilla, another splash of rose water, and sweetened to taste. Hmmm...

Coffee. Good coffee. Bold, rich, freshly ground. If it’s the swill that’s been sitting in an institutional coffee machine that’s seldom, if ever, cleaned out, then the answer is hot tea made from loose tea leaves. :)

Coffee is my morning drink, but I love tea too, especially Earl Grey, Lady Grey (Earl Grey with lavender in it), and chai.

I dried some lavender from my garden and keep it in a bottle to add to the Earl Grey. Twining's makes it, though, in bags.

Black tea; I like Twinings English Breakfast and Tetley British Blend. I like it strong so I use 2 bags or when I want to treat myself I'll buy loose tea and fill the tea ball. I also love hot cocoa.

!!!! I have to try that. Rose water is so expensive though. But worth it.

Being a Brit with Irish descent (big tea drinking countries!); tea, hands down. I'm obsessed with coffee too though, and do love a hot chocolate and Ovaltine as well.

It is soooooo good! It is literally just a splash for a mug and a little tip of the bottle for a teacup, so I only have to buy it twice a year. I also make rose pistachio cream chocolates around Yule.

Now I want a Rosey London Fog. Looks like I am off to the kitchen!
