Tuxedo With Stripes?

Anyone have a tuxedo cat with a bit of a tabby pattern? My guy has a noticable pattern in all lighting, and some less noticeable stripes on his head. He looked very solid in color until his fur got a bit longer. His sister had very distinct ghost stripes when she was younger but as hers went away his came out.

He might be smoke in color. If you part the hair and look at the base of each hair, is it white at the base?

Black cats can retain ghost stripes. My Charlie is three years old, and I can still see his stripes on occasion.

I see ghost stripes on my little Dorian and Bunny, and faint tabby markings on Natasha's head and back legs.

Nooo, it's not white. Very light grey maybe? The ends are definitely darker? Maybe its because hes long haired.
