My cat had newborn kittens who all died a week after birth. What will happen to her ? If her teats are still producing milk and the babies were not even a month old... will she get mastitis or will milk dry up she has shown no signs of pain yet gladly but I am concerned that the milk will harden she has older kittens about 5 months old can I have them milk her teats instead ?

Hi!
Can you find out if there are orphan kittens that could benefit if she'll let them nurse? Check with vets, rescues, shelters...

Yes, the older kittens can nurse if they still want. Mom will push them away if she is not interested.

Where are you located? We can help you to find a low cost spay/neuter clinic in your area. Your kittens are old enough to mate now, and you don't want siblings breeding.

Oh yes the vet told me that I don't have to worry because her supply is already drying up and that the older kittens can get what's left which they seem to be doing so yay
