Hello! It's Saturday again.

Who are some of your favourite villains?

I thought of this question when I heard that an actor I've admired for years, Rutger Hauer, passed away last week. He played the replicant Roy Batty in one of the best movies ever, Blade Runner.

Even though Roy was a villain he spared the man who was chasing him

Another actor who has played some good villains is Gary Oldman. He was very sinister as Stansfield in Leon and creepily weird as Zorg in The Fifth Element.

There have been some great Disney villains too. I think the best one was Cruella de Vil. She was evil, but she did it in style.

I agree with a lot of what has already been posted, but would also like to add Jefferey Dean Morgan as Neegan in the Walking Dead. Some people are turned off because his character is so brutal, but isn't that the point? He is a great villain, and sexy too!

Alan Rickman was also a villain in 'Quigley Down Under', but my favorite would probably be Lionel Barrymore as Henry Potter in 'It's a Wonderful Life'

Alan Rickman was the ultimate bad guy.
Jeremy Irons does bad guys really good in movies.
David Tennant in Bad Samaritan was great. Love the man, but I wanted to see him die in that one. He plays bad really well.
Tim Curry and David Bowie have played very good bad guys.
R.I.P. to Rickman, Bowie and Hauer. They were great.

Edit: Forgot about Hannibal Lecter (Sir Anthony Hopkins)

Another vote for the late, great Alan Rickman and Glenn Close was flawless as Cruella DeVil in 101 Dalmatians.

Also giving props to Meryl Streep who was amazing in The Devil Wears Prada. Was she really a villain though? Some say yes. Some say no. She was amazing regardless.

*spoiler* I'm not sure if Regina from Once Upon A Time counts since she becomes a hero halfway through the series, haha.
Petra Solano from Jane the Virgin is another favourite.

Yep - Tim Curry as Pennywise. Very scary!

I don't know if this counts because they are not 'guys'.
The Demogorgon and the Mind Flayer from Stranger Things.
