my cat Escanor (Esco) was a stray that wondered into my garage. When I first heard there was a cat in my garage I knew I probably wouldn’t keep it and would have to take him to the shelter. Then when I got him I met him and fell in love. I wanted to keep him so bad but had no clue how I was going to pay for vet bills, food, litter, and everything else a cat needs. His paws were burnt from being outside on concrete, one paw was cut up, he was severely malnourished, his butt was bleeding, and he had a small case of fleas. But I took him in, took him to the vet and got all of his problems fixed. Some took longer than others like getting him to gain weight and finding out he has a grain allergy. But fast forward 9 months and Escanor is the sweetest/funny cat ever. He’s healthy, and happy and sleeps on me every night. It was love at first sight and I am so thankful I was able to help him and afford to care for him.
