Steak and kidney pie. I can't stand the taste of kidney... makes me want to throw up.

Hurts to even think about it; liver and onions. My mother was anemic and also deficient in B12. I would gag every time it was served and I would spit it out into my napkin. Finally after she realized what was happening I didn't have to eat it.

I'd forgotten about liver and onions, ugh. Hated it, still do.

Beef liver is very strong tasting. Just think how long it has been "working." Calves liver, on the other hand, sauteed with onions and mushrooms, can be quite nice. And chicken liver pate is yummy.

I can't think of a *meal*, but I've always hated carrots. No matter what's done to them, I taste dirt. Now that I'm an adult, I'm under no obligation to eat them :redtongue:

Liver and onions and most fish. If something smells bad, it’s not making its way into my mouth.

Dad was one of the pickiest eaters who ever lived. Therefore, we were never forced to eat anything we did not like. There are things that were made that I didn't like but I just didn't eat them. Mom liked liver & onions but she only made that for herself every now and then and ONLY when dad wasn't home because it stinks. I don't like brussel sprouts or mashed turnips. Those would show up on the Thanksgiving table most years.

I agree with you Mother Dragon Mother Dragon . I can also taste the smallest amount of liver in anything. Even the smallest amount dominates any other flavor- in the worst way possible. Just like cilantro which is not food. It is leafy soap.
