I second what furballsmom said in an earlier post, try not to give him the fish oil orally with a syringe as if he aspirates it, it could be deadly. Try to smear it across his teeth or lips.
Thanks for the links, I read them for knowledge

I received my fish oil today and gave olivers dose orally with a syringe, I will update in a week or two or whenever if ever I see a improvement.,.I pray to the lord my boy finds comfort, he deserves it

It's the oiliness/viscosity of the fish oil that can cause issues.
Ill put it on his paws..Thanks for that info

Edit

I put it on his paws and he did not like that, he did eventually clean his paws well...He doesnt like the taste it seems..

Ill try omega treats

Oliver Oliver

He dont like the treats, I found a dropper with measurements in my kitchen which is 100% better then a syringe...

I just gave him .25ml orally on his gum line in his outside tent and he took it very well...I think hes getting tolerable of the taste on day 3...Now if I can do that 4 times a day I should be good and I dont think such a small amount on the gums will go down his windpipe

I feel like im winning again

UpDate

I still give him orally, less then half a dose daily, about .40 ml...He does not like it at all so I administer it when he is in his stroller and immediatly put him in his outdoor tent and he is content...

His fur is softer but he still itches, has not had hyperesthesia symptoms since this combined with cbd oil....

The big positive thing is that he has not had a single hairball since taking this oil...Previous to this he was hacking up hairballs every week...I dont know what its doing for hairballs but im happy

This has nothing to do with appetite, this is about fur coat/hairballs/omega 3 supplementation for itchy skin, hyperesthesia symptoms
