Oh Thanks. That's great... I have bought SO MUCH food that just sits around because my krazy cats like to mess with me !! I appreciate the websites. I'll go check them out.

You're very welcome. Hang in there, my boy is much the same and I consider it a REALLY good day when he eats what I put in front of him LOL. Speaking of, you might be able to find a local TNR organization or a shelter - they'd welcome the food.

Dior is up to her usual "stuff". Initially she liked the Gourmet Natural Chicken And Liver. Shortly after I purchased a case she changed her mine!! No worries (LOL) I have lots of different brands in my "warehouse" of foods previous cats did not like!
Glad to know 'm not the only one with a cat food warehouse! I stumbled across some Fancy Feast Gourmet Naturals in a pet store and bought some of the Trout/Tuna and my cat seems to like it really well. He has been wanting more fish lately. I ordered some from Amazon, free shipping with Prime. I have now ordered a case (12) of beef and chicken as well.

Just curious, have you tried the chicken flavor yet, and did your cat like it? My cats usually love FF. But I gave them the Naturals chicken flavor, and they refused to touch it.

So far mine is eating the Trout, Beef and Chicken. He used to eat plain FF Chicken but got where he wouldn't eat it. Of course he may change his mind at any time!

Our cats like the Naturals chicken and beef flavors but not as much as they love the regular FF Classics. They're getting used to them, though, and eat them pretty well with Pure Bites dust on top.

Yes, we did try the plain FF chicken flavor... ate it for a few days, then turned her nose up at it. She does eat FF, plain Fish Feast. Fish is all she will eat which I really dislike giving her all the time. I have tried zillions of different brands of chicken, beef, duck, rabbit, etc.... Won't touch them. That said she likes dry food almost any flavor. So I am now mixing some dry food (with chicken, duck, turkey, goose and pheasant) with her wet food which contains fish. It's a compromise, but I'm not as worried about her eating all fish (and the pollutants) all the time. Dior is the purrfect cat for me, with one exception. Her damn eating habits !!!! Oh well, can't have everything I guess !

Do you think Dior (what a great cat name! and what a sweet picture!) might eat foods like, say, Weruva's Cats in the Kitchen cans (these!) that have shreds of chicken? Some of them have both chicken and fish -- we don't feed any fish-only foods but something like Funk in the Trunk has more chicken than fish. Some of those foods might even puree well in a mini-processor to make the chicken shreds less obvious to a picky eater.

Weruva's BFF Play pate line (these!) includes a bunch of "land & sea" foods with both meats and fish. These are very moist, soft pates, pretty different from Fancy Feast, but our cats like the chicken ones.

The biggest downside is that Weruva foods are lower in calories than Fancy Feast but they're very decent food!

Dior And I Thank You for the kind remarks..

As far as Weruva Food, you and I are on the same page basically. Right now her favorite foods are, Cats In The Kitchen Goldie Lox... Chicken, Tuna, and Salmon; Weruva Mideast Feast... Tuna and Tilapia; and Earthborn Monterey Medley... Tuna and Mackeral. I have a few cans of Cats In The Kitchen... Lamburgini... Chicken, Duck, and Salmon which I am going to try when I get the nerve !!! Funk In The Trunk looks like an awesome food but she didn't take to it. That said, since I am mixing some Fromm Dry Food with the wet I will retry Funk In The Trunk as she really chows down on the dry food. I did buy some of the Land And Sea Pouches (The Blue One) which again I will try in the near future. Thanks so much for your insights and ideas!! Wishing you and your kitties the best !!!

Two thoughts here...the behavior change could be due to artificial flavors and colors. It's been linked to behavior changes is children, so why not cats, too? Also, it's been my experience that canned cat foods contain more iodine and that could affect thyroid function giving the cat more energy. I had a cat that became borderline hyperthyroid just from eating mainly canned food. Her symptoms went away after I started feeding her more kibble and less canned food.

Hmmm... VERY interesting... Thanks for the idea. I keep an extra keen eye of her since I started mixing some dry food with her wet food.
