Don't panic; we have a lot to do the outside, grading, taking away dirt piles, etc. We had to remove a lot more branches than what we wanted, but didn't have any choice.

He got here around 8:15 and by 9:15, he was on his way to Buffalo, NY.

It definitely got the attention of our neighbors! Several guys came in to see what was going on. :lol: The guy across the road from us said he and his wife were going into town. When they got to the end of their driveway and saw the shed, she said to him, "That's really nice! Go up and see what they're doing!" So he did. He's going to call Sheds Unlimited as he was very impressed with the shed. He told the driver to expect a phone call and gave him his card. He and his wife want to see it when it's done and decorated. Another guy is the man who's been helping us; he just loves it and said the door is fantastic. The other guy is the one whose wife thinks a she-shed is the greatest thing since sliced bread and she wants one so bad she can taste it. She wants it for a craft room.

Here it is: I'll get some better pictures when things have been cleaned up.

There are no windows on the back side because of the neighbors. There is a single window on the upper end. And from the inside, it's just a shed. We need to do a ton of work!

Oh, and Mia6 Mia6 You will be happy to know that The Beast has already been inside!:flail: I took her out to pee, we walked over, Rick had the door open, and in she went! She sniffed around a bit, then flopped on the floor. She gave it her Wag of Approval.

Awwwww,,,,,, she likes it!!!

It is beautiful!! Not a shed but a shed-mansion!!! The door is perfect and the windows as well!! Guess the Beast felt safe and calm in there.

Congrats, Pam, It's amazing!! :clap::cheerleader::goldstar:

Love it, love it, love it! That door!!! Make sure, if you want flowers this summer, to buy them before the 4th of July. Around here in SE PA, they pretty much go away from the stores then. Maybe you could find an Amish place, though (?), if that happens. I think the shed would be even more cute with some flowers!

Thanks guys! I love this. I really do. The dimensions are 12 x 20 feet. I'm glad I didn't go with two stories; they would have never gotten the second story on the site. They use cranes for the second story and, no way would that have worked.

I didn't realize that they also painted the inside of the door Sonic Plum. So now, any kind of interior color scheme will have to include that purple. Or repaint the inside of the door. I like the color of the door, even on the inside.

Kat0121 Kat0121 Rick told Mollipop about The Beast being in the shed; she started screaming something about feline blasphemy and getting a feline lawyer; she wants to sue The Beast. In an attempt to appease her, I took her out to the shed. She was not amused. She was slinking around and she was only too glad to get back to the house. When we got back to the house, Jackie said, "Me, me, me! I'll go! C'mon!" So off we went. She went in, sniffed around to see what the electrician had done and flopped down on the floor, while we vacuumed sawdust and such inside (we used an extension cord to vacuum). Unlike the girls, The Beast doesn't mind the vacuum cleaner at all. She'll get out of my way, but she doesn't flip out. Weird, considering she flips out over everything else.

The inside of the shed is now wired. Once the trench to the house is dug. the shed will get connected and we'll have power. We put a motion detector light outside; the electrician said that way, when I start to walk over to the shed, the light will come on for me. When I start back to the house, the light will come on again. There's no room for outside lights at the door because of the windows being so close to the door. The shed heaters are supposed to be here on Wednesday.

Oh, and he's putting in a small circuit box. The fridge, microwave, and Keurig will be on a separate line. The lights, TV, and heaters will be on their own line. And the AC will be on its own line. He said he thought it was safer that way. (Rick said he can just see the electrical box outside the house whizzing and whizzing!)

The drywall guy is coming in some night this week to look around and to talk to us. (We have to start insulating.) I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but the floor is already insulated, so we don't have to worry about that. We do have to put some barriers down at the outside bottom of the shed to ward off meeces.

I do have some pictures of the interior and will try to get them posted tonight.
