I was taking Prochlorperazine for nausea for years but my doctor recently took me off it because he said I was having to many side effects. I will try to get CBD over the counter to see if it really works for me. Being nausea all the time is an awful feeling.
I know that feeling well. I tell people that having IBD/colitis seems like having PMS everyday, even though I am XY. The research will be accelerating now that CBD is legal and available in most places.

Well, they called him back today and did a phone interview. They haven't officially offered him the job, but they had him scan and e-mail a bunch of documents, including driver's license and social security card so I think he's got the job.
Oh, that is good news! Keeping our collective fingers crossed for you. :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers:...

So...one man's trash is a butterfly's treasure? Does it have bright yellow or vivid purple in it? BOTH attract them.
Vivid pinkish-purple, and celery green and white..I love having them visit. I didn't realize how many different types there are right in my own backyard! My bud came back yesterday and let me pet him again.

My son just got his first job offer. A mental health counseling center in town wants him for a case manager position. Unfortunately, they can't hire him until he's 21, which is the first part of August (so only 5 weeks). They have already started the ball rolling with a background check. They will contact him shortly for fingerprinting, HIPPA and drug testing.
First job in his field and he doesn't even have his Associates of Science yet. I'm a proud mama.

Seriously, cats. We had a sudden giant clap of thunder that startled even me. And here's Sparkle safe under the chair.

Meanwhile, skittish Lelia, who runs from the door opening, new people, and sometimes me, is still here:

Girl's not scared of the vacuum either. I don't understand her at all.

Our beloved angel Calo liked to BE vacuumed. He'd lay on his back and I'd vacuum his underpinnings with the hose attachment/brush. He loved it.

They called John this morning to have him schedule a drug test. I'm assuming the job offer will come after they get the results of that? No issues with him passing unless they suddenly made caffeine and allergy meds illegal.
Yeah! Yes! In fact, in many states, and for federal safety sensitive jobs, you cannot send someone for a drug screen unless you have already made an offer of employment.

I don't think I'd like to live without caffeine so I'm very happy that it's legal. His test is tomorrow at 10 am and he says training starts on July 8. So it took him less than a month to find a new job. We ran into one of his former coworkers today and I told her to tell the witch I said thanks; he's gonna be making more money than her and I've enjoyed having him home. She did us a favor. I think that's the best revenge.

My Big Cal hides in both bathrooms. I found her underneath a shelf the other morning..have no idea how she fit there. She weighs 20lbs if not more. Someone who never met her before told me he thought she had some Norwegian in her. Yikes! The Maine Coon part is bad enough with her amount of food intake. I'm having a difficult time picking her up because of my hands/arms. Storms predicted for this afternoon so she'll be hiding again.
