We recently acquired what's said to be a Savannah/Bengal mix as well. F1 Savannah mom and Bengal dad.
Our new baby is about 8m old and insanely scared of everything, I've never seen a cat in general so terrified...

Do you know anything about how he was raised/socialized? Early gens can be quite shy, I've got a friend with a couple early gen Savannahs and one is sweet, the other still mostly untouchable, same litter. But he isn't so much fearful as standoffish, not bonded to people. It's a slow process gaining their trust and making them comfortable.

Apparently came from a breeder who had a ton of cats and kids. Then the lady I got her from had another full Bengal very playful kitten, two grown Bulldogs, a bulldog puppy, another older cat, and some children with their own pets in and out of the house. She said her mom kinda beat her up alot as well

It's not unusual for a cat that is shy anyway from her personality to be extremely shy during introductions to a new home and family. Most cats are. Cat absolutely HATE change and she has been through a big one. It takes patience and calm to get her calmed down. Sit in the same room, talk quietly and when you leave, leave treats behind. Kids would not be good right now, they are too quick and too noisey. Shge needs slow movements and quiet time. In the best of times it takes weeks for acceptance in to a new household, many times months. Seh WILL come around, what you are going through is normal, it just takes one day at a time......

I do not have experience with your breed, but your baby has seemingly had 8 months of chaos amongst cats, dogs and people. If he is on the timid side in general, all the more upsetting. I would say lots of quiet and routine while not forcing him to be social. I am a parent to a timid cat who hid for almost two months when I got her. I let her take her socialization at her pace, although it was frustrating at times. Sometimes I wondered if I even had a cat. I spent weeks talking to furniture that she hid behind and closets I knew she was in the back of while she was adjusting. While she will never win the Boldest Cat Award, she is able to enjoy interacting with me and exploring the house at night and when she thinks no one is home. She will always be the cat that my friends hear about but have never seen. She's not afraid of everything, though, she's a stone killer of any wee creature she can find.
