Differences Between Cats

My Oliver, who I lost a year ago, used to not like it when I would hold his body against my face to hug him. He would wash his whole side where I touched him after I did this. My Theodore LOVES to be loved and he does not wash it off. Oliver was so beautiful I could never resist.

of course you couldn't, that's why the universe sent you Theo, so you could get all that cuddling in. I think Oliver approves.

All cats are different, for sure, but all special in their own purr-sonal ways.

Yes, I got a lovey one. I have to be careful not to trip over him when I get up to walk. Especially in the morning when I comb and feed him. All I have to do is grab th comb and sit in the combing spot on the couch and Theodore jumps right up into my lap purring. Oliver would come when I called to comb but, I had to pick him up. He loved combing too. Theo is a talker too while Oliver was mostly quiet.

Theodore was an only kitten. It was his mom's first litter and he was the only one. The breeder I got him from played with him since he had no other kittens around. Maybe this is why he wants to play with me more than trying to amuse himself. When he gets wound up, he will bring a toy to my feet and then lay on his side attacking the toy and my feet! He will grab at my feet pulling himself around my feet (he has SHARP claws!). The breeder says he looks like his mom. She just had her spayed so he is the only kitten she ever had. She said that Lilly never did take a breeding until Theo. So, he is special. I firmly believe this is why he is such a doll.

Sort of shivery story about how Lily didn't want another tom until Theo's dad turned up and how Theo is her one and only kitten. It's rather like the universe planned this every step of the way.


I find that a pair of fuzzy house shoe boots are useful. Sweet Gum knows she can attack my feet if and only if I'm wearing them. For the first year she attacked at will. It was hard. this is better.

I have a pair of moccasin type slippers made of suede. They help but, he sometimes gets into the socks and ME!. LOL I think he is learning that when I yell in pain it's time to stop.

Yes, the more I get to know him, the more I see how special he is. 10 more days to his first birthday!

Kitties are all different.
My sweet Lola would allow me to give her deep and long kisses straight on her mouth (I loved to kiss her mouth).
My beloved Pallina wouldn't, and she could have easily bitten my lips if I tried to give her long kisses
Of course she never bit me, maybe she was just being patient, but the feeling I had was that she could have bitten or scratched my face
