Are there any poisonous snakes in there?
Or ticks? I'm scared to go in the woods anymore, because of ticks. :(

We're still having "April" showers, so not much exercising. However, I did spend most of yesterday in the garden moving things around, and my Fitbit recorded over 19,000 steps. :walk:

I always wear long pants and hiking boots. There are ticks around, so you need to be careful.

I walked for an hour and did two 40 minute yoga sessions today.

Here's a short clip of the wild birds in the forest park.

A long hike through the woods sounds nice right now!

We went kayaking again last weekend. We only covered about a mile and a half this time. I wasn't sore at all and my new paddle helped a lot! My DD wanted to race girls against boys but I told her I'm not ready for that! She really zips along now! DH didn't tow her at all!

That sounds like fun. DD is going to be super strong if you keep this up.

I did two 45 minute yoga sessions on Saturday and Sunday, plus about a 1 hour walk on Sunday evening.

Yesterday I did 90 minutes yoga and just a short 30 minute walk. I think today is going to be several 30 - 40 minute yoga practices between lessons. My work schedule is all over the place at the moment, I really have to try and get better organised.

:runaround:

And hopefully I will be too! :flail:

Gardening was my workout yesterday. By the time I was done outside I was too dirty to put socks on and I needed to cook dinner. So I laid on the living room floor for 10 minutes till I could give DS a quick bath before cooking dinner. :p

I've managed to get a couple of long walks in this week. One hour on Tuesday and 90 minutes on Wednesday. The monsoon has just started, so I might not get any walks for a while.

I've also done an hour of yoga every day this week, I'm making the most of the warmer weather and the extra flexibility it gives me.

How's everyone else doing?

I've been running my mother around town and to her therapy appointments this week. It's not much for physical exercise but I've gotten a little in. :ohwell: Sometime within the next week we are planning to get back to that nature preserve we kayaked at a few weeks ago. I'm looking forward to that!

That should be fun.

It's really hot and steamy today, after all the rain we had yesterday. Unfortunately I work 10 am to 9 pm on Saturdays so I won't have time for a walk. Maybe a couple of quick Vinyassa in my breaks.....

How's everyone doing this week?

I spent all last weekend working, so I had to get out of the house for a walk on Monday. The monsoon is still doing it's thing, but I walked for an hour in the pouring rain and felt a lot better for it.

I did 90 minutes of yoga on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was going to do more yoga on Thursday, but all this rain is making me sleepy so I had a nap instead.

An hour of yoga on Friday and 40 minutes today.

Aaaaaaaaand.........it's still raining.

Finally our "April showers" came to an end, so I've been spending lots of time in the garden. And according to my Fitbit, I regularly reach 10,000 steps a day now, so I guess I'm getting in some exercise. :walk:

It hasn't rained for three whole days!

Speaking in a very quiet voice so the weather demons don't hear me. I want to go horse riding this week.

I did 90 minutes of yoga on Monday, then a bit of gardening. It's a jungle out there!

Yesterday I did an hour of yoga and walked for an hour.

I think I might make the most of the sunshine and go for another walk now

I walked for an hour and did 30 minutes of yoga yesterday. 90 minutes walk and 90 minutes yoga today.

I saw a family of deer with a couple of cute little fawns and a beautiful green and yellow grass snake on my walk this afternoon.

I've been dodging rain storms all week, but I've been able to get out quite a bit. On Friday I started with 30 minutes yoga, then went horse riding.

I rode Sakie again and Mr Husband rode her younger brother, Mitsunosuke.

On Saturday I did 90 minutes yoga, today I did 30 minutes yoga and walked for an hour.

How's everyone else doing this week?
