Greetings! Happy Tuesday! :catlove:

Do you have a celebrity doppelgänger? Has anyone ever told you that you resemble a famous person?

Apparently I look like Uma Thurman

Aaawwww yeah, bask in my obvious sexyness!

But in all seriousness I'm pretty perplexed by it! But there are definitely much worse comparisons out there so I'm not complaining.

How about you guys?

I don't think so. I don't really pay a whole lot of attention to celebrities/movie/tv/etc. So I might just not know.

One of my friends looked a lot like Rachael Leigh Cook when we were in high school. I never noticed it but someone in our youth group pointed it out when we were at an amusement park and started calling "That's Rachael Leigh Cook!" and people were staring at her for real. She was so embarrassed.

A very drunk, random man once told me that I, too, look like Uma Thurman. Hahaha! There is no resemblance.

Way back in my server days, I had an older lady say, "You probably have no idea who I'm talking about, but you look so much like Gene Tierney." I about fell over with the compliment! Not only do I know who Gene Tierney is, but my daughter's second middle name is Lucia (Lu CHEE ah) after her character Lucy in "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir," which is one of my favorite movies (the ghost, Captain Gregg, calls Lucy "Lucia.") My cat Tara is named Tara Lenore Tierney after her, too! I do not think I look like Gene Tierney either, although we both have sort of feline features with high cheekbones.

I have also been told that I look like Kate Winslet, Joan Allan, Shohreh Aghdashloo (technically, they said I looked like Dr. Kavita Rao from X-Men), and Cate Blanchette. Maybe if you mix them all together?

I was once mistaken for the ice skater, Tara Lipinsky, whom I don't think I resemble. This was about 17 years ago. The guy actually thought I was she.

In a Burger King bathroom, in Lehighton, PA, a woman seriously asked if I were a Kennedy: "You have that Irish look.". Right. They'd be hanging in BK.

DH tells me that I look like Belinda Carlisle, a singer from the '80's. Or maybe he said that about a photo of me back then, my employee i.d. (?)

When I was younger, and the TV show "Cheers" was on and wildly popular; I was told I could be a double for "Diane".... never knew if that was good or bad? But many people told me.. and all were strangers.. when I asked my co-workers, they agreed.

I have never been confused with any celebrity at any time, from any era, from any media, whether stage, screen, television, or music. If I was, the offended party would probably hunt me down and kill me.

Sade and Cher. I guess if they had a kid (if that was possible)??? When I was small, a friend of my mom's said I looked like this Silver Screen actress, Merle Oberon.

A coworker told me that I look like Norm on Cheers. That is insulting as I am a woman and he is a fat man. LOL. Also in the past two weeks I have been called Sir. I am starting to get a complex.
~ If anyone ever compare s you to 'Norm' again reply : " Yes ? I suppose he could be my sister ..." `
