When I was a kid I had two betta fish named Footloose and Fancy. Once they died, I thought that perhaps one day I'd name two cats that. I haven't done it yet, but if I possibly adopt anymore cats the male would be Footloose and the female would be Fancy.[/QUOTE
I've always liked the name Chloe for a girl cat. Don't know about a boy.
I had a feral named Chole. She was a sweet heart and had a lot of litters before I could get her fixed.

I am a little disappointed that I didn't name my cats Dewey and Loc or LC because they are the library classification systems, but maybe for some future cats.

I'm not sure. The only way to solve the puzzle is to go out and adopt two kittens, a boy and a girl, before my wife gets home and tell her they followed me home. Yep, two little kittens followed me home while I was barreling down a back road doing 70.

I like the names Willow Grace and Brooklyn Rose for a female. For a male, I like the names Maxwell and Maximus. I haven't thought of a middle name for the boy, but his nickname would be Max.

I have always wanted two male cats named Jack and Gus Gus (Cinderella mice) and I have this obsession with the name Morty. I saw a commercial once with with an elderly couple, and the husbands name was Morty, they were so figgin' cute and since then I have been a huge fan of "cute old man" names for cats. But so far, Morty has not suited anyone yet, and my husband did not want to name our most recent two males after Cinderella characters, so maybe the next time I'll convince him.
As for female names, I have no idea, I always have a hard time with female names.
I'm better with boy names, too.
Foster litters are fun to name because it's easy to keep track of records if you name the litter together. We've had the Charlie Brown litter (Lucy, Linus, Charlie Brown, etc.), the Home Improvement litter (Tim, Al, Mark, etc.) and so on. Naming singletons is harder.
I know someone who named an adopted stray and named him "Ellis". Cool, imaginative name. I wondered how they came up with it and it was slang for "LS", standing for "little..." well you know. The cat was always tearing up the trash cans and peeing in their flower beds so they decided to make him a house cat
Naming is even worse when you want to do a registered name with it and have them have some sort of meaning :runaround:
