He wanted to play with it in the worst way! I wish I had started recording sooner. He was talking to me.
No, Theodore never goes outdoors and never will. I may get a mesh pen sort of thing for him to be put on the deck (with me always there to watch him) but never just open the door and let him out! He has such a fluffy coat, it would be a nightmare keeping it clean and would be a flea magnet. Way too many bad things outdoors here. I am surrounded by woods and live 10 miles from the nearest small town (boonies).I dont know if you let Theodore outoutside, but:
Deer bring ticks and rabbits bring fox and coyotes.
Thats what happened in our yard.
Every once in a while a bug does get in. He is right on it. But, I think (I hope) he has learned what a wasp looks like. He has been stung two times now before I found them. The last one that got in he simply sat and watched it (I killed it).maybe you could bring a few of the less obnoxious bugs inside for him.
I didn't have anything I dared give him or put on it. He was pretty upset by it so I doubt I could. It just had to pass. It only took a few minutes. I calmed him and told him they are BAD bugs! What did you give him when he got stung? We have wasps here too.
