That's how it happens to me, anyway. I've noticed it's generally when my Alerts or Inbox are being updated; I think the site sometimes has trouble multi-tasking.That happended to me before! Don't feel bad.
Sometimes I think a message hasn't posted so I aggressively click on "post reply" but then end up with many messages being posted.

So the Vincie girl slept beside me for 12 nights..now she has slept under the bed for the last 2 nights. I think Monday night it became too cold as I had the windows open and the temps fell to the 40s. I could hear her sweet sounds that she makes when she sleeps as she slept right under me. Last night I had the ac on and she hates it but at least she was with us.
I haven't been getting e-mail updates to this forum lately for some reason. Odd.
Aislyn's back. We went to pick her up on Sunday. She's been pretty good for the most part, but more stick thin than she's ever been and she was once again saying that she's afraid of getting fat. I'm afraid I'm fighting an uphill battle!!!

She's 6. And she's said that her mom has said she'll get fat if she eats too much.
Ignore the dress. It's her mom's doing. I dress her in clothes that fit.

Aedan is sick. 103.4 fever. Runny nose. Diarrhea. ER said all the bacterial tests are negative. They have viral cultures going and we're supposed to follow up with his pediatrician and in the meantime, keep him hydrated and treat his fever. He was perfectly fine and happy this morning, then this hit him like a brick.
Ibuprofen and a warm bath got his fever down to 100.4 and he's sleeping. We had been working on weaning - only nursing for naptime and bedtime - but for now, I'm just gonna put that on the backburner and let him nurse all he wants.

Oh that poor little sweetheart looks so unhappy. I'm so sorry baby.

Poor Aislyn. 6 is way too young to be so obsessed about weight. Her mother should be ashamed of herself for doing this to a child. She's a beautiful little girl.

I remember when my son was five and he got 103.8° temp. It was a Saturday night and the ER is about 45 miles away. I put him in a cold bath and it brought his temp down to around 100°.
I feel for you. You feel so helpless and you just want to cry, but you can't because you need to be strong and help him.
I hope he feels better soon.

Aww....poor guy. I hope he is on the mend soon. Do you think the abscess he had on the bottom of his foot has anything to do with this? How is he this morning?
Aislyn is a beautiful child. She looks adorable on her sweet little bike.Her mother should not be telling her she'll get fat!! Makes me so angry when parents do that.
He broke his fever last night, but it was back this morning. Not as high, though.
The abscess was a couple months ago so I don't see how, but I'll bring that up to his pediatrician when we go for the follow up.
And I hate that aislyns mother is the way she is.
We had to keep moving Mickey off Aedan last night. I think he knew he was sick and wanted to make him feel better.

Fever is much lower and he seems almost back to normal. 
OH GOOD! I was worried about our little "nephew!"
This was yesterday; he was still a little feverish (as you can tell by the red cheeks) but feeling mostly ok.
And today, he seems to be perfectly fine.
