I feed mostly Weruva. I started out by avoiding fish and did so for a long time, but finally decided the hell with it, it was too limiting. I do still avoid most of the fish only flavors. Ailish will still eat no fish/no fish oil flavors when they come up in the rotation. I try to make sure at least every other can she gets is strictly no fish. I don't use BFF or the pouches because the pouches are too much for one feeding and not reclosable, and we DEFINITELY don't prefer leftovers. The TruLux line is a fave of hers, but my store stopped carrying it so I have to order it. TruLux is a little more pricey, but most of them are higher cal than the other Weruva, so you can feed less. I've never done the math to see how the classic and the TruLux actually compare price-wise.

Ive tried many brands of high quality wet cat food; avoiding fish.

Weruva paw licken chicken has been our mainstay.

Despite being low calorie...... trust me greg and arnold arent starving!

Although I sometimes feed Weruva and think it’s a fine food, I think there is a lesson to be learned from the recent deaths of cats in Australia due to lack of nutrients in Weruva food. Cats that were fed only Weruva were the ones who suffered from malnutrition and died. Although I’m sure Weruva has worked hard to ensure that their foods are now always nutritionally complete, the lesson to be learned is to not only feed one brand of food.

My boys also get natures variety instinct dry food, chicken. I have to put out some dry for them as no one is home for 12 hours during the day. Im guessing its about 60 to 40 percent ration weruva to instinct.

So we tried the new slide and serve pâtés and I was disappointed for two reasons....the pouches are 2.8oz, and they were crazy low in calories.
I did find one kind in a 5.5oz pouch which is good. It’s also INSANELY expensive (I’m in Canada) for less food. One of the 5.5oz pouches was $3. I usually pay $1.49 or less for a 5.5 oz can of a different brand.
I did love the texture and so did my cats. They love softer Paté as opposed to dry sticky Paté.
Anyway, though they loved it, I won’t be buying it much because of the cost and because the closest place that carries it is over an hour away.

Thank you! i had no idea there was a serious problem with Weruva, except one of my kitties loves the Goldie Lox flavor and over several months has been getting terrible diarrhea. Something has changed because she's been on Weruva for years (which i mix with Fancy Feast to make things interesting). I tried Chicken Frickazee, and it was even worse. Not knowing what was going on, I put her exclusively on FF, and she is back to her regular, healthy self. Sadly, i now have given up on the brand.

I feed Weruva a couple of times a week. I have to rotate. Recently I bought a can of Peking Ducken. I've never had all three of my cats devour anything like they did Peking Ducken. I looked at the label closely and realized that this is a DOG food. No taurine in it. Some of the other flavors above are also without taurine. If so, they would not make a good regular cat food.

My cat likes the Peking Ducken too... The cat variety. There is both a dog food and a cat food. The cat version does contain taurine. I couldn't find any of their cat foods without Taurine
