I make:
Jewelry. I've been doing ancestor portrait jewelry lately.

Dressed-up skull portraits of famous people. My newest, who is not finished, is Genghis Khan. I buy skull sort-of-bobbleheads at the Dollar Tree, and hand-sew clothing and hats, etc. for them.

Cooking

Knitting scarves for Operation Gratitude and cage blankets for a cat shelter

Geneaology

Gardening

Making life-sized Halloween props
. Nothing animated, etc., just figures.

I also have a Facebook page devoted to missing persons, but no one looks at it. Seriously. The only members are myself, and two relatives--only because Facebook makes you get two members to start it up! I haven't written anything in months. I started it, hoping to get people chatting about the cases, putting forth theories, etc.--and perhaps that someone may identify these people. It's a subject that's important to me.

Until recently, I did some graphic design for a charity that I volunteered for, along with cooking in their restaurant, thinking up, and doing fund-raiser events for them. I loved that!

Yep. I read, knit, crochet, hand stitch, and embroidery (I am new to it). I also write, work with clay, and paint. A couple of my paintings were just featured in a literary magazine.

If you want to count working on my old house a hobby, I do that, too.

I embroider temari balls (that's actually redundant; "temari" means "hand ball," but if you just type "temari" into a search engine you'll get hits on an animé character). Additionally I'm trying to re-learn tatting and crocheting left-handed, since an injury in 2012 has left me unable to properly control thread tension with my left little finger. And I draw Celtic knotwork, and occasionally I make 3-d geometric models with heavy paper - the great dodecahedron is my favorite:

In this picture, each face of the dodecahedron is a different color - you can see that the faces penetrate each other. I learned how to make this when I was a girl from this book: MATHEMATICAL MODELS - : ROLLETT, CUNDY : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive, which I found in the library. When the library decided it wasn't being checked out by anyone but me and got rid of it I bought my own.

~ I like to relax on the internet and read about whatever interests me at the moment. I also like to cook. I suppose house restore/repair could also be considered my hobby - but it's actually more out of necessity. But I do find it interesting .

I like playing video games on my 2ds and ps4. I have a switch but haven't played much on it yet. Also read a comic here and there. Ohhh and skincare! Kind of a newish interest. I actually like doing my nightly routine because it feels like I'm pampering myself. I would enjoy the mornings too but I'm rushed. Looking to get into tretinoin, which has proven to have anti-aging effects.

I'm an avid reader. I read everything except science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I enjoy the same in the movies I watch. I'm always looking for the next good suspenseful book and movie.

Games of all kinds are my main hobby. My favorite is Scrabble. I play once a week with a group at my senior center, and once a week at a friend's house. I also play almost every day on line. I'd have to be very sick to miss a day playing games here on TCS.

Yes, I mostly hang mine on the Christmas tree, except for the ones I've given away. I can't leave them out most of the year because it's virtually impossible to clean them.

I found books about temari when we were living in Oregon for a year in the mid-1980s. We were farther north than I was accustomed to, and in the winter I'd go to work before sunrise, spend the day sitting at a desk with a window that looked out on a white wall about 4 feet away, and drive home after sunset. It left me with a terrible case of Seasonal Affective Disorder. After we moved back to Colorado I spent about a year doing very little besides embroidering temaris, because I needed the color so badly. I've concluded that SAD is as much about color deprivation in the winter as it is about light deprivation, at least for me.

Reading, making book marks, playing Words with Friends, listening to music, all kinds and singing along with it.. I read books, magazines, tons of online articles. I read so much that my eyes are dry almost all the time and I should own stock in Bausch&Lomb. I walk or go for light hikes when weather permits. I have a lot of ex-hobbies that I can no longer do: tennis, skiing, cooking.

Mia6 Mia6 You should try Word Chums. It has the right amount of letters for a real Scrabble game. Words With Friends can be frustrating having so many of the same letters.

My hobby is metal detecting on land and in the water. I find lots of coins maybe $100 worth a year and occasionally some good pieces of jewelry. In the winter when I can detect I sew (washable covers for swiffer sweepers) and sell what I make on Etsy.

And I am also a HUGE thrift store shopper and visit a store most, days. I don’t believe in buying new if you can find it used.

I have several "lost" hobbies, that I still enjoy, but just have not had the time to keep up with much lately. I paint, sculpt, sketch, make jewelry, color, read, play piano, garden, cook, bake. I have also wanted to start to knit and sew and would love to start refinishing furniture. I work with essential oils and have several recipes for various bath products, but have yet to get that going. I have plans to start using my abilities to supplement my income, but it has to wait a bit longer. We have several things that need to be done around the house, so I'm hoping to improve my carpentry skills while I help with the construction and build small furniture and decorative pieces.
How many hours are there in a day again?:rolleyes2:
