My two feline ginger cats are tabbies. Eric has short hair and amber eyes. He has dark orange tiger stripes on his cheekbones and body. He looks like he is wearing a V-neck sweater because of his white chest and white paws.

Sarah has medium-length hair, and her right legs are white, and her left legs are orange/ginger. She has green eyes. She is told she is beautiful 20 times a day. She does not find this to be excessive. I get the slow blink when I tell her how beautiful she is. Eric meows when I tell him what a handsome, handsome boy he is.

So "handsome" and "beautiful" are the only words that matter at my house, regardless of the breed.

I suspect Sarah is really a tortie with white or a calico with hers green eyes. Any black or blue spot anywhere?

Any cat that is not pointed can have green eyes, or any other eye color on the spectrum from green to copper. Coat color does not affect eye color on this spectrum... tortoiseshells aren't genetically any more likely to have green eyes than other cats.

Here's more information than you ever needed to know about eye color.
