I just came home to a tube of neosporin completely chewed into little bite marks. She's acting completely normal, still very active, not showing any stomach upset, but I'm of course worried.

Online, it doesn't seem like it's an emergency. She might just have some loose stool later?

Can anyone help me out? Should I take her in or will she be okay as long as I monitor her? :( This kitten will be the death of my sanity istg.

Personally, I'd be rushing my cat to the vet ER ASAP if only to get piece of mind that the cat will be ok with maybe an upset tummy.

You can call your vet and see what the after hours voice mail message says for emergencies. Call that number and explain the situation.

This is the phone number for a free pet poison control hotline:

Kansas State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital 1-785-532-5679

The ASPCA one that most people are familiar with charges a fee.

When you get the chance after this situation, go through the home top to bottom and cat-proof it as much as possible to prevent future things like this or worse. Some cats are too curious for their own good

:yeah: At the very least please call a 24 emergency vet for their professional medical opinion.

Is your kitty microchipped through Home Again? If so, and if you've paid for registration, they have a poison control number you can call. (Don't ask me how I know this....) The ASPCA has a poison control hotline that you can call, but you might be charged. Animal Poison Control
