Hard Callus On Paw Pad

Hi all,
I was just laying with my kitty and noticing what to me seems like a callus on her paw pad. I have a couple pics and I’m wondering if anyone has seen this before? I will get her checked out by the vet but I’ve never noticed this until today. Thanks!

I could be that that particular toe bean is very dry, or it could be a cutaneous horn, or it could be something else altogether. Having a Vet take a look is the best thing and then you'll know for certain. (sorry to be so vague, but that's how it is sometimes )

Thank you! Yes when I looked at it real good it looked like just really dry rough skin. But I’ll definitely have the vet take a look just to be safe. I just thought I’d see if anyone here had anything similar happen before.
