Hello,

I need some help to understand if my 2 cats are pregnant. They are 2 sisters that I got as kittens together. They showed heat signs at about 9 months (they are 1y now).
I was supposed to have them spayed in March, then the appointment got rescheduled (doctor's personal problems and other timing issues for me). Now I have the blood test next week, before the spay surgery the week after @_@ but I'm not sure, are they pregnant??

I had started to let them out under my supervision in the yard, but during heat signs I would just keep them inside. I noticed it's been more than a month that they don't roll on the floor or meow loudly with the butt up. They were always under my supervision, except one weekend I was away and my neighbor took care of them.

Thank you for all the help

Any chance the neighbor let them out without supervision? How long ago did the neighbor watch them?

I can't tell by their nipples, they look pretty normal.

Mmmm, I told her to keep an eye on them, but I will ask if she actually did, to double check.

I'm mostly surprised that they haven't showed heat signs in a while...that's why I decided to ask.

Heat periods are fairly irregular in cats. I wouldn't worry about that. But if they were ever outside without direct supervision. . .well, cats are very fertile!
