If he doesnt eat anything you must go to vet, he will just get weaker and weaker. The vet perhaps know how to tube feed and can help you with this? It could help much here. But not all vets knows how to, nor have the gears
And even a so so vet can always inject some supporting fluids into the neck behind the shoulders. Gives often dramatical improvement.

With very weak kittens a trick may be to give them just pedialyte. Home made pedialyte is water, some karo or honey so it barely becoes sweet, and a little kitchen salt.
Its no remedy if he is sick for real, but may buy you time.

You can also smear some pedialyte with extra karo on his lips and gum.

Digestation stops often in very weak or dying kittens, while glucose sugar in pedialyte or karo doesnt need to be digested.

I would take the whole family, just to have them looked at since you will be there anyway.

Last time I posted the kittens were about 2 weeks old. Baby Ash was sick. Sneezing and developed a goopy eye the day after we took them to the vet. Most likely he had a cold. No one else got sick. I am happy to report he is doing just fine now.

The kittens are 5 1/2 weeks now. They are eating wet food now, using the litter box and today the decide to venture out and explore the rest of the house.

Obviously I got very attached to little Ash while nursing him back to health. I was already planning on keeping the little girl, when I told my husband I wanted to keep Ash too, he said, "Let's just keep all three." Oh boy, lol 6 cats is going to be expensive.aI am insisting on automatic litter boxes.

My poor 16 year old girl isn't happy. She spent 15 years as an only cat. I am kind of relieved though. It means we don't have to find homes, which I was very nervous about finding good homes, especially black kittens. I had no idea my area was so superstitious.

At what age can I get the kittens fixed? I am hearing different things. I love our new little family, but no more.

Hey S StarEH !

Hurray - you get to keep all 3! I took in a pregnant stray 4 years ago who had 4 kittens. I kept mama and all 4 babies. It’s been wonderful! Then, two years ago my friend passed from cancer and I took in her 2 cats. I’ve got 7 cats now.

Your older kitty will adjust. Just be sure to give her special attention.

I spayed my kittens at 12 weeks. :)

Keeping the little family together is the most wonderful thing. When cats can they remain together in prides the same as lions (barn cats and ferals.) Watching the little family grow and interact will bring joy to your hearts, possibly even your I was here first sweety. Older cats sometimes not only adjust but enjoy helping mom with her kittens. Nothing like a grandma when you never thought to have one.
