Someone abandoned their pregnant cat at our house. At first I left her alone because I figured she belonged to a neighbor, but as she lost weight and got super bony I realized that she didn't have a home and she didn't hunt. I started feeding her. She's gotten to the point that she'll come into the house and put up with me though she's still very skittish.
I recently saw her out with her kittens and figured that she would start bringing them around the food I left out every day and I could figure out how to proceed so I wouldn't end up with a whole colony of cats around. Unfortunately, it's been two weeks and I haven't seen any sign of them since but I don't think they're away from mom yet because she still calls for them every once in awhile. Time is running out, though. What do I do?

Hi!
Keep feeding her if she's still eating from your offerings.

If she's calling for them but there's truly no sign of them, and it's been two weeks, in my opinion they either got sick or a predator got them.

See if you can trap mom and get her spayed so this doesn't happen again. Hang in there!
